　　亚龙湾国家旅游度假区间隔三亚市区25公里处，是目前海南独一一个国家级旅游度假区，属国家4a级景区。总面积18.6平方公里，旧称琅琊湾、牙龙湾，1992年6月更为现名。被称为“天下第一湾”，1994年，结合国世界旅游组织秘书长萨维尼亚克被亚龙湾的美景所沾染，挥笔夸奖它是“真正的天堂”。

　　亚龙湾三面青山相拥，一面呈月牙形向大海敞开，沙滩平缓广阔，连绵7公里，浅海区广大50―60米。沙滩雪白细软，海水明澈分层，能见度7―9米。长年可进行海水浴、日光浴、沙滩活动、潜水活动和多种水上活动。目前在亚龙湾除了享受阳光、海水、沙滩和各种水上活动和沙滩运动外，还能够去畅游被称为海洋上的海底世界的贝壳馆、风景蝴蝶谷和亚龙湾中央广场。

　　贝壳馆设在亚龙湾中央广场的内部，面积不大，但却被设计得像热带海底贝壳一样优美，是我国第一家以贝类为主的，集观赏、科普、购物为一体的综合性主题展馆，1997年8月向游客开放。全部贝壳馆分为一个放映厅和4个展厅，4个展厅分辨展示了大西洋、印度洋、太平洋和中国南海的千姿百态、色彩斑斓的贝壳和珊瑚。

　　出了贝壳馆便是亚龙湾核心广场，它是亚龙湾国度级游览度假去的标记性建造，总投资7000多万元，占地总面积7.1万平方米。1995年12月底建成，存在观光、娱乐、聚会、餐饮等多种功效，1996年中国家假休闲游揭幕式在此举办。广场上有高达27米的图腾柱，缭绕图腾柱是三圈反应中国古代神话传说和文明的雕塑群。图腾柱和雕塑群浑然为一体，形成强烈的中国古地理意识和东方神秘颜色。另外，在景区的另一处，还有占地1.5公顷，与贝壳馆一样是一处集中欣赏、科普、购物为一体的综合性的展馆，里面向游客展现了各种各样、千姿百态的蝴蝶跟蝴蝶标本，还有目不暇接的蝴蝶留念品。

　　亚龙湾国家旅游度假区经由多少十年的建设，已经进驻了多家国际品牌的度假酒店。如喜来登、家化万豪、希尔顿、假日、华宇皇冠、天域、凯莱等10多家五星级酒店，构成了我国最佳的海滨旅游度假区。

　　Good morning, ladies and gentlemen. You have visited the Tianyahaijiao yesterday, and I believe that you must have enjoyed yourselves very much. Today we are going to visit another famous scenic spot in Sanya—YaLong bay.

　　First, let me give you a brief introduction of YaLong bay .YaLong bay was built in 1992 with the approval of the State Council. It has a total area of 18.6 square kilometers, and 25 kilometers from the downtown area. The YaLong bay is a natural beautiful bay, and it is called “the first bay under heaven”. In 1994, the general secretary of the world tourism organization, deeply impressed by the beautiful scenery, complimented it “the real paradise”.

　　YaLong bay is surrounded on three sides by green hills one side open to the sea like a new moon. The sea beach is even and wide, extending over 7 kilometers with shallow water along the coast of 50-60 meters. The sand is white and soft. The water is clear, so people can swim, ride motorboat, go scuba diving and do all kinds of aquatic sports all year round.

　　Now we are arriving at the YaLong bay central square. It has a totem pole with a height of 27meters. Around the totem is a group of sculptures, representing china’s four sacred auspicious incarnations, eight ancient myths and legends, and 24 solar terms. The sculptures constitute a strong Chinese ancient astronomical universe consciousness and the level of ancient oriental culture charm. On the square, there are four white fastigium canvas tents. These tents add modern breath to the square.

The museum was open to tourists in august, 1997. it has an area of 3,000kilometers , and it is the first comprehensive museum with seashells as its theme, combining science ,exhibition and sales as a whole. The seashell museum has a video hall and four exhibition halls. The exhibition halls display seashells and coral reefs in the different poses and with different expressions from the Atlantic Ocean, Indian Ocean, Pacific Ocean and the south China sea .
