凯特·温斯莱特(Kate Winslet)，少有的几位奥斯卡提名超过五次的女演员。
1997年的《泰坦尼克号》令其骤得大名,然而Kate却转身投入文艺片的行列，所拍影片为她积攒了6次奥斯卡提名。
6次提名，1次问鼎，来之不易，但已较名导Martin Scorsese幸运得多。

"I'd be lying if I hadn't made a version of this speech before, I think I was probably eight years old and staring into the bathroom mirror. And this (holding up her statuette) would've been a shampoo bottle.

"Well, it's not a shampoo bottle now!

'm very grateful to receive this award for "best actress". I can't begin to tell you how much I appreciate this great honor.
