推荐人须知:
厦门大学管理学院MBA教育项目始于1986年，系国家教育部和国务院学位办首批认定的工商管理硕士学位点，提供学历和学位教育。
为培养高层次职业经理人，厦门大学管理学院近年来改进了MBA入学程序，在全国联考基础上，强化面试考核，更注重考生的阅历和潜在素质。
厦门大学的MBA项目旨在造就商业精英、未来企业领袖。
我们要求申请人具有一定的工作经验，具体为:至入学时大专毕业满五年或本科毕业满三年或研究生毕业满两年，且在工作单位有突出业绩。
推荐人的意见和权威性也将是我们选择学员的重要参考。
请您亲笔填写完后放入信封，并附上您的名片，推荐信不可由他人代书。
为保证推荐信的真实性与客观性，信封必须密封且封口处应由推荐人亲笔签名。

问题1：How long have you known the applicant and in what connection? If applicable, briefly describe the applicants role in your organization.Please comment on the frequency and context of your interaction. (250-word limit)
分析：这个问题是问推荐人和申请认识的时间、场合以及关系。
如果有工作关系，请描述一下申请人的职位等等。
这个问题的主要目的是考察申请人和推荐人的关系，看看推荐人是否真的很熟悉申请人的情况，就是对申请人了解的程度，这也就决定了推荐信的份量和可信度。
问题2：What do you consider the applicants talents or strengths? (250-word limit)
分析：这个问题要推荐人介绍一下申请人的天赋和长处。
如果推荐人和申请人只是一般的关系，并无很深的了解，这个问题就不是很好回答，可能只是简单地谈一谈。
其实，这个问题的最好的回答方式是，既要使用描述性的语句，也要使用具体的例子来说明申请人的优点。

其实，一个缺点都没有是不可能的事情，推荐人最好能找出一个无关紧要，不影响申请人的申请，但是又算得上“缺点”东西或者例子来说明。
当然，这个问题是能短则短，说多了可能引起误会，反而不利于申请人。

分析：什么样的职业最适合这个申请人?你认为10 年后这个申请人会发展到什么地步?这个问题其实是在问申请人的职业发展潜力，就是说，是不是孺子可教，将来能有一番作为。
申请人如果想让推荐人把这个问题回答好，最好是实现和推荐人沟通好，让推荐人对自己的职业规划有很清晰的理解。
问题5：The predominant method of instruction at Harvard Business School is case-based learning. It is a highly interactive experience requiring the proficient use of English-reading, speaking, listening, writing and integrating "real time". Please comment on the applicants ability to contribute to this learning model. (250-word limit)
分析：这个问题是说，哈佛商学院的主要教学手法是案例分析教学，需要申请人有高度的交流能力和熟练的英文表达能力，包括口语和写作。

这个问题基本是所有商学院都会问到的。
问题3：What do you consider the applicants strengths?
分析：这是让推荐人介绍申请人的优点和长处。

推荐人在回答这个问题的时候一定要用工作中的例子来说明申请人取得的成就，最好是从几个不同的侧面来说明问题，比如，一个在 Team Work 上的例子，一个在 Leadership 上的例子，一个在 Personality 方面的例子。
值得注意的是，一般来说，这个问题申请人在写论文时也会被问到，所以要避免用相同的例子和类似的表达方式，一是为了避免重复，二是更增加推荐信的可信度。
