　　慰问信本身的性质及其应用功能就决定了我们在写第二段时不能像前面的几封书信那样去具体解释原因，而是要尽量避免一再地提起别人的不幸。相反，在这种情况下我们反而需要为处于困难中的收信人尽可能地提供自己的帮助，成为对方的坚强后盾。同时，表明自己的帮助时，需注意做到实虚结合。

　　尾段：I do hope you will soon get well again and be able to come back. Be assured of my availability and eagerness to help in any way I can.

　　本段中，依然如上面第二段中提到的那样，我们不能一再地表明自己对对方遭遇不幸的同情之情，所以在此只能表达自己对对方的美好期望，期待对方好转等。除此之外，还需再次表明自己永远帮助支持对方的决心，为对方增加面对困难的信心。
