  My name is Li Hua. I was born in the city of Dalian, Liaoning Province. I studied in Guangming Primary School from 1984 to 1990. Then I entered NO.6 Middle School where I mainly learned the subjects like Chinese, mathematics, English, physics, chemistry and computer. I have been very fond of and good at English and computer ever since. Therefore I placed first in the school computer competition last year. My hobbies include swimming in summer, skating in winter as well as collecting stamps and listening to popular music in my spare time.

  一上完数学课,我们参加小英赛的同学就一窝蜂的窜到了六一班。

  Oh no!试卷一发下来,猛地一看:一共有三张试卷,双面的。老师说,听力只听一遍,时间一小时。随着同学们紧张的心情,听力录音开始了。第一道题是让我们补充表格内的信息,读得好快啊,而且我们都还没听清楚呢!

  在每道题都有一段时间让我们审题,在那段时间里,旁边的很多同学都在抱怨,嘻嘻!其实我也觉得快了些!

  时间一分一秒的过去,我们在奋笔疾书。就在最后五分钟时,老师提醒了我们:“只有五分钟了啊!抓紧时间做!”当时,我正在写作文。作文的要求是:介绍你熟悉的一座城市,不少于70个单词,10句话。我相信大部分同学写的都是广州,我也不例外!

  在老师出声的前一秒,我终于答完了我会的题目。我还有好几题空在那里。我不会啊!

  In the first place, due to thewide application of the computer, some people called net friends always take priority over our family and friends in real life. The bulk of each day including our time and energy is spent on the Internet. What’s more, theInternet deprives us of the delight in communication with others. When takingto someone by us, we can hear their voices, see their expressions, and evenhold their hands if we would like to. Last but not least, the computer willlead to a decline of our skills of face-to-face communication. Thus we may feelembarrassed and find it harder to communicate with people around us.

  To sum up, we shouldn’t be dependenton the computer excessively. No matter how convenient and speedy it is, we should remember the advantage of face-to-face communication.

  Laziness is a sin, everyone knows that. We have probably all had lectures pointing out that laziness is immoral, that it is wasteful, and that lazy people will never amount to anything in life. But laziness can be more harmful than that, and it is often caused by more complex reasons than simple wish to avoid work. Some people who appear to be lazy are suffering from much more serious problems. They may be so distrustful of their fellow workers that they are unable to join in any group task for fear of ridicule or fear of having their ideas stolen. These people who seem lazy may be paralyzed by a fear of failure that prevents fruitful work. Or other sorts of fantasies may prevent work; some people are so busy planning, sometimes planning great deals or fantastic achievements that they are unable to deal with whatever "lesser" work is on hand. Still other people are not avoiding work; strictly speaking, they are merely procrastinating—rescheduling their day.

  Laziness can actually be helpful. Like procrastinators,some people may look lazy when they are really thinking planning, contemplating, researching. We should all remember that some great scientific discoveries occurred by chance or while someone was "goofing off". Newton wasn't working in the orchard when the apple hit him and he devised the theory of gravity. All of us would like to have someone "lazy" build the ear or stove we buy, particularly if that "laziness" were caused by the worker's taking time to check each step of his work and to do his job right. And sometimes, being "lazy"—that is,taking time off for a rest —is good for a overworked student or executive. Taking a rest can be particularly helpful to the athlete who is trying too hard or the doctor who's simply working himself overtime too many evenings, at the clinic. So be careful when you're tempted to call someone lazy. That person may be thinking, resting, or planning, his or her next book.

  It’s understandable for human to pay much attention to their good-look. However, many side effects have come into being when some people are losing weight.   2、学会内容表达的完整性、行文的连贯性、遣词造句的准确性。

  能力目标:提高学生写作水平和综合运用英语的能力。

  二、教学辅助:多媒体

  三、教学过程:

  (一)Lead-in

  导入的任务是唤起注意,酝酿情绪,带入特定的语言交际场。在教师的指导下进行回答问题,小组讨论。

  1、要求学生回答下列问题:

  What is pocket money?

  Do you have pocket money?

  2、四人小组讨论下列题目:

  How do we deal with(处理) our pocket money?

  通过以上提问,让学生尽快进入角色,对如何使用零花钱,说出自己的看法。让学生分小组活动,四人一组,教师巡视,需要时给予帮助,并参与学生的讨论。引导学生扩大词汇量和英语惯用法,指导他们掌握英语基本句型,尤其是五个基本句型和动词句型。然后,选出某一小组的代表向全班汇报他们小组讨论的内容,再请1—2位学生发表他们的观点。

  3、将 “How to use our pocket money?” 写在黑板中的上方。向学生布置接下来的任务:Today we are going to discuss how to write a report on “How to use pocket money for Junior school student?”

  (二)Presentation

  (四)Outline

  要求每位学生各自完成拟写提纲的任务,可以是潦草提纲,这种提纲不仅字迹潦草,往往也是只言片语。但在应试写作中往往是很有实效的一种写作提纲。也可以是句子式提纲,在这种提纲中,每一部分的内容用完整的句子列出,能较详尽地体现出实质内容和各部分之间的逻辑联系。

  (五)Writing

  要求学生根据大家的讨论和教师的指点以及他们所拟的提纲,尽快地把文章写出来。学生在充分准备的基础上进行文字写作实践。这一阶段的具体任务有四项:1、草稿;2、自检错误;3、文字推敲、润饰;4、初步定稿。

  在这一过程中,教师巡视,给以学生必要的帮助和指导,特别是帮助指导一些有困难的学生。查看学生写作的内容要点是否齐全,表达是否准确,用词、句型结构的使用是否正确,单词拼写是否有误,语法结构的数量和准确性,上下文的连贯性以及语言的得体性。鼓励学生在完成这一任务的过程中应用较多的语法和词汇,合理使用较复杂结构和较高级词汇。

  (六)Checking

  教师在引导学生实施这一过程的任务之前,首先应向学生展现作文评分标准,特别是中考作文的评分标准、评分原则、给分要求,以及各个档次的要求和分值。在评价作文时,重点放在它所表达的思想及表达方式上,看作者对材料的分析是否准确、有新意,文章是否切中题目,是否完全完成了规定的任务,等等。这一过程的具体任务有:

  1、Checking in pairs

  同桌交流习作,通过辨认并改正彼此的内容要点的遗漏,句子结构和语法以及用词的错误,再一次为学生提供学习的机会,并强化同学间的合作性学习。

  2、Class correction

  听班级反馈。选出一篇学生习作,通过投影进行讨论并集体修改,让1—2位同学提出修改意见。评述学生习作的内容要点、语言的准确性、遣词造句、语法结构、句子句型、过渡词语、语篇结构以及标点符号的使用。采取反馈和同学间相互阅读作文的方法。学生既是作者又是读者,他们通过阅读别人的作文,可以学到更多的写作技巧。

  3、Teacher feedback

  学生听教师评述。教师对学生的修改意见进行简要的评述,然后通过幻灯展示范文,并强调写作要点。然后,要求学生再次对作文进行修改,不但要求要点齐全,语言表达准确连贯,而且在此基础上,求新、求精。适当使用并列句、定语从句、名词性从句。

  4、Hand in

  学生将写好的作品上交老师,教师审阅后把优秀作品在班级阅读展览。

  negotiating is the process of communicating back and forth for the purpose of reaching an agreement. it involves persuasion and compromise, but in order to participate in either one, the negotiators must understand the ways in which people are persuaded and how compromise is reached within the culture of the negotiation.

  in many international business negotiations abroad, americans are perceived as wealthy and impersonal. it often appears to the foreign negotiator that the american represents a large multi-million-dollar corporation that can afford to pay the price without bargaining further. the american negotiators role becomes that of an impersonal purveyor of information and cash.

  in studies of american negotiators abroad, several traits have been identified that may serve to confirm this stereotypical perception, while undermining the negotiators position. two traits in particular that cause cross-cultural misunderstanding are directness and impatience on the part of the american negotiator. furthermore, american negotiators often insist on realizing short-term goals. foreign negotiators, on the other hand, may value the relationship established between negotiators and may be willing to invest time in it for long-term benefits. in order to solidify the relationship, they may opt for indirect interactions without regard for the time involved in getting to know the other negotiator.
