　　everyone has a dream. now i'll talk about my dream i what is my dream? ioften ask myself. when i was a little boy, i wanted to be a soldier with a gunso that i could defend our motherland.

　　now i am a young boy with a new dream——to be a doc-tor. i want to be afamous doctor, helping the sick and saving their lives. why has my dreamchanged? well, at the age of 11 i was ill, badly ill. i was told that i hadcancer. i had to leave both my school and my friends and go to the hospital.every day i suf-fered the troubles caused by this illness.

　　i also saw some people who were suffering and dying of ill-nesses. i madeup my mind to become a doctor, so that i can help the sick people and cure themof their diseases. china is a develop-ing country. she needs good medicine andgood doctors, especially in the countryside and lonely villages.

　　i want to try my best to help the poor sick people of our country. i wantto let them have an opportunity to receive excel-lent treatments for theirillnesses without having to pay much or any money.

　　i'll do every bit to cure the incurable. i hope to see a world where thereis no cancer, no aids, no fatal diseases. i'm confident that through the jointefforts of you and me, man will put an end to his bodily sufferings and thisdream of mine will one day be brought into reality.

　　The spring festival is Chinese most traditional festival every 365 days.Each Chinese pay much attention on it. Every year about 15 days before springfestival， the migrate works and white-collars are beginning crowdedhome-returning.

　　But， in recent years， with the development of the world， many differentattitudes between the young and the old towards the spring festival come forth.The old are still pay more attention to the spring festival， but the younggradually change the mode to spend their spring festival holiday， such as traveloverseas.

　　When I am a childhood， I celebrated the spring festival with my familyabout a month in my winter vacation in traditional way， such as helping cleaningour houses， putting red couplets on gates， setting off firecrackers， and wearnew clothes. Now， I spend only 4 or 5 days at home with my parents incelebrating the spring festival， then I will hurry back to work. Maybe in thenear future， I will have no time celebrating spring festival hometown， and myparents have to come to stay with us in the city.

　　Whether or no， I like the spring festival. It is one of the most importantpart of our Chinese culture. However busy I am， I will try my best tocelebrating it with the traditional way to protect those our ancestor has leavebehind.
