　　英语在社会上占据着重要的位置，现在的我们不仅要学好知识，还要学好英语。

　　以前上英语课，我总觉得枯燥无味，因此带听不听的。妈妈三番五次提醒我要好好学英语，而我总是不当回事。

　　今时不同往日了，我已经成为一个初中生了。在十二中学，上午要上四节课，语文、数学各一节，英语两堂。

　　我们这位英语老师不仅英语说得好，而且课上得也有声有色，我们听的都很带劲。老师到底用了什么办法让我们这些在小学里不爱学英语的同学变得这么喜欢英语啊。

　　老师知道在我们这个班大多数同学在小学里的英语基础打得不是很好，于是就从最简单的开始学——认识字母。老师并没有千篇一律地请同学念字母，而是利用做游戏念字母。游戏规则十分简单，就是每组按顺序说出下一个字母，谁说错了就站起来，然后以站起来的人数凭名次。开头前面几个同学说得都很好，可是后来就有一些同学出错了。“F”我接着后面说出了下一个字母，本以为我们这组成绩可以名列前茅，没想到后桌章鹏太不争气了，竟忘了“F”后面的字母是谁了，随口说了个“H”，惹得其他组的同学捧腹大笑。“哎，章鹏你怎么回事啊，这么简单的字母都说错了。”同桌郑文秀不甘心我们这组得不到第一名，姚胜气得也直打章鹏的脑袋。还有一些同学也一样，说错了下一个字母，弄得我们笑个不停。连续玩了几遍过后，老师又换了一种玩法，一组一组地念。一组十几个人，相信总不会在讲错了吧，没想到还是有人错。

　　老师一时记不住我们每一个同学的名字，就叫我们回家用纸做一个跟嘉宾席上一样的牌子，用不同颜色的水彩笔在一面写上自己的大名，另一面写上自己取的英文名。这样一来，老师以后上课叫人只要看看牌子上的名字就行了，不必慢慢看姓名表那么浪费时间了。
