　　To begin with, teenagers are not independent enough to take care of themselves. With the publishment of one children policy, most family just has one child. They are the apple in their parents’ eyes. In order to make them live better, parents will do most things for them. How can they look after themselves in abroad? If they go abroad in such a young age, they may under great stress. If so, how can they devote themselves to study? As a result, going abroad for study has no good news. 　　自从上了三年级，我们开始渐渐地接触英语，而且，英语还慢慢地成了主科，我学会了学英语。在一、二年级的时候，语文数学需要考试，现在英语也加入到考试这个大家庭中。学英语成了一件苦差事。

　　有一天，在写英语作业的时候，我简直要被这枯燥而又“无味”的英语给弄烦了，我开始想：记单词这么难，难道就没有解决的办法了吗？如果单词记住了，可过了几天又忘了那又怎么办？我带着这两个百思不得其解的问题去请教妈妈，妈妈走到我的书桌旁，看着我已经写了二十多遍的单词，坐下来，语重心长地对我说：“学英语要讲究方法，不能急于求成，要看平时的积累。要是讲到记单词，我告诉你几个窍门儿：

　　1、写单词的时候要多用心记，写几遍以后要‘回过头’看看对不对，要保证写单词的准确性。

　　2、记单词要一边念一边写，这样可以加深对单词的印象。

　　3、记单词要根据发音，把单词分成几截，和已经会背的单词相互对比着记，这样不愁单词记不牢，我学会了学英语。”我听了，心里顿时豁然开朗。妈妈又开口了：“至于怎么让单词忘不了，那就得天天复习，只有这样才能把单词记牢。儿子，只要你记住这几个窍门，以后的英语单词就不用再犯愁了。”我听了妈妈的话，感觉知识的大门又向我敞开了。我照着妈妈的办法，连续试验了几天，记单词真是顺畅多了，我的英语成绩像发射的火箭一样直线攀升。

　　现在，我已经成了五年级的'学生，但是我还是坚持用这几个窍门儿，它们真是让我受益匪浅。如果没有这几个窍门儿，我的英语成绩不会上升得这么快；如果没有这几个窍门儿，我也不会成为现在我们班的“单词王”；如果没有这几个窍门儿，我更不会有这么大的词汇量。
