　　Going to high school is my first time to leave home. I have to live in school from Monday to Friday. I like to stay away from my parents for some time, because I can make my own choice and be free to go anywhere. My friends and I like to spend the weekend in the countryside that near the city we live. It is the short travel that I can not only appreciate the beautiful scenery, but also learn to be independent. The things that nature teaches me are a lot. I can see from the color of the cloud to predict the weather and the sound of of animals have different meanings. All of these are hard to know from the books. 　　I went Chong Qing in July 22.It is a city which was built near mountains.

　　So people call it Mountain City. In Chong Qing,I went to the Red Stone Center, to see the places which the prisoners lived in the past. It is a terrible and awful trip. There are a lot of dogs, and soldiers with guns near the prisons. And most of the prisons are good, they didn't want to tell the bad people where the other people were. They lived in very small houses. No good food to eat, no good water to drink.They had only twenty minutes to stay out side per day but they still said nothing.

　　I think they are the heros in that century. I will follow their spirit.

　　This is the second time for mr. brown to visit jinan. during his stay in shandong, he will visit several schools. net week mr. brown will visit some places. first, he will take a train to taian to climb mount tai. then he will go to qufu by bus to visit the temple of confucius. after that, he will return to jinan by bus. then he will fly to qingdao for a visit. there he will stay for some days and give a talk on american english. at last he will take a plane to go back to america from qingdao.

　　A arrived in Beidaihe at about 2 o'clock,and immediately took a No.5 bus to the sea area.The beautiful blue sea was so large that I couldn't see the other side of it.After getting off the bus,I went straight to the shore.Taking off my shoes,I put my feet into the water.The water was cool,and walking in the water was such a great joy that I didn't want to stop.Then I collected shells.When it got dark,I sat on the shore,watching the sea.The night scene was simply marvelous!
