前一段时间，我参加了“希望之星”英语比赛，没想到进入了复赛。复赛比初赛难多了，初赛只需要用英语进行自我介绍，再加上才艺表演就行了，而复赛呢，除了这两项之外，还要看图用英语说句子。比赛的图片有20多张，比赛前两分钟进行抽签、准备，然后就要上场了。
这一个礼拜，我一直在为比赛做准备，可是因为图片太多了，时间又紧张，所以我只准备了其中的10多幅图片。
星期六下午，妈妈陪我去参加英语比赛。抽签的'时候，我看见我准备的图片都被别的小朋友一张张抽走了，心里有点儿紧张。轮到我了，果然，我抽到了一幅没有准备过图片，我想：“这下可完了，真倒霉！可是，都已经到了，也没办法了，只能再努力准备一下了。”上场的时候，我不再紧张，我大方地做了自我介绍，并唱了一首英语歌，看图说话开始了，大屏幕上出示了图片，老师把话筒递给我。我先介绍了图片上的人物，在介绍他们在干什么，30秒中里面，我大概说了八、九个句子。
比赛结束了，妈妈表扬我发挥的很好。不知道会不会进绍兴市的比赛，但是不管结果如何，这都是一次很好的经历。

去年的一个星期五，是学校的英语艺术节。那天没上课，可是学校里热闹极了：上午要举行游园活动，下午还有文艺演出呢!
那天上午，八点二十五分，游园活动开始了。林老师把入场券分给我们，我一看，内容真丰富啊：有猜灯谜、做饺子、飞镖夺宝、纸船运蛋、搜宝大行动、摇骰子说单词
首先，林老师带我们去一⑶班：飞镖夺宝。我拿起飞镖，心怦怦直跳，结果我打中了六环。
接着，我们去二⑷班：做饺子。我先把橡皮泥揉扁，再把馅儿搓圆，一眨眼，一个饺子包好啦。我觉得它像一只弯弯的小白船。
然后，我们去体育馆二楼：猜灯谜。我快步上楼，看一看有没有我出的灯谜，结果让我失望了。但是，我还是很快地猜到了一个灯谜。
最后，我们在自己的教室举行圣诞大餐，老师分给我们很多很多东西，有鸡腿、饺子、粽子、月饼、牛奶这真是一顿美味、丰富又营养的.大餐!
下午演出的节目很多，而且很精彩。我们在操场上看了两个小时，也不觉得累。
我觉得那天的英语艺术节真有意思!
