　　Nothing in today’s world is as big a problem as that of population. People begin to worry about the support capacity of the earth. And there might be only standing room for each person in the future.

　　Lima’s population was 5. 7 million in 1985 but it grew to 9. 1 million in 20xx. Tianjin’s was 7.9 million in 1985. In 20xx, it boosted to 9. 7 million. Such cities as London, Osaka, Moscow, Beijing, Karachi, Delhi, Jakarta, Seoul, and Teheran are having a similar population growth. Calcutta, Shanghai, New York, and Sto Paulo see a faster population explosion. Tokyo had 18.8 million in 1985. In 20xx it turned into 20.2 million. Mexic city had 17.3 million people in 1985, but in 20xx, its population reached 25.8 million!

　　What does the population growth mean? It means greater and greater consumption and greater pressure for the earth. If more people are added to the world population without our being alert or taking any action, we would have only standing room by the end of the 21st century.

　　Each government and the UN should see that population of each country and each city stops growing for the next fifty years.

　　but some others prefer to choose a job with promising future。 they base their choice on the following reasons： on one hand， a promising job itself means a raise and promotion in the future; on another hand， job with a bright future will bring them honor and sense of pride。

　　as for me， if i’m left to make the choice， i’ll not hesitate to choose a promising job。 first of all， i appreciate the honor and challenge it brings to me。 at the same time， if i work hard， it will offer me a lot of opportunities including high salary， good position， etc。

　　One day John decided to quit...quit his job, his relationship, his spirituality…

　　John wanted to quit his life. He went to the woods to have one last talk with God,

　　“God”, John said, “Can you give me one good reason not to quit?”

　　His answer surprised John.

　　“Look around” said God “Do you see the fern and the bamboo?”

　　“Yes.” John replied.

　　“When I planted the fern and the bamboo seeds, I took good care of them. I gave them light and water. The fern quickly grew. Yet, nothing came from the bamboo seed.

　　But I did not quit on the bamboo. In the second year the fern grew more vibrant and plentiful. And again, nothing came from the bamboo seed. But I did not quit on the bamboo.” He said.

　　“In year three there was still nothing from the bamboo seed. But I would not quit. In year four, again there was nothing from the bamboo seed. I would not quit” He said.

　　“Then in the fifth year a tiny sprout emerged from the earth. Compared to the fern it was seemingly small and insignificant…But just six months later the bamboo rose to over on hundred feet tall. It had spent the five year growing roots. Those roots made it strong and gave it what it needed to survive. I would not give any of my creations a challenge it could not handle.

　　“Did you know, John, that all this time you have been struggling, you have actually been growing roots? I would not quit on the bamboo. I will never quit on you.”

　　“Don’t compare yourself to other. God said, “The bamboo had a different purpose than the fern. Yet, they both make the forest beautiful .”

　　春天，万物复苏，小草探出头，消息演奏着一首首动听的歌曲。在春天最少不了的还是樱花的开放了。

　　几场蒙蒙细雨过后一朵朵樱花羞答答地开放了：一朵有五个花瓣，每个都是爱心形状的，有着一缕缕清香，洁白的花朵齐开放，把光秃秃的树枝打扮得美轮美奂。每一朵都是那么漂亮，柔美。

　　我来到两棵樱桃树下，一阵微风吹过，花瓣一片片落下，这个时候自己好像走进了仙境，几个小天使来到我旁边，我好似走到了花的世界，一片花海中，花瓣跳着舞，时而旋转，时而摇摆……我真想摘一朵花下来，品尝这花的香气。可是我不忍心，樱花会疼的`吧?也许是花的清香招来了许多的小蜜蜂，他们手中提着一个小篮子，飞向一朵朵樱花，行动起来“一二一二一二……”一片片飘落的花瓣成了小蚂蚁的玩具，我和它们一样在欣赏着一朵朵美丽的樱花;小鸟高歌着为大地演奏。樱花听到了更是开得美丽、茂盛、鲜艳了。

　　我最喜欢这樱花了，因为它是春天的“圣物”啦!
