今天，我们学校举行了一次英语合唱比赛，结果只得了第三名，想要知道是怎么回事吗？这还要从进场说起。
“同学们，我们要进场了，脱掉外套。”听到口令，早就跃跃欲试的我们马上站了起来，排好队伍，向后台走去，到了后台，只见其他班的同学都在听班主任的最后几句叮咛，王老师随即也说了几句，之后就要等我们上场了。
我们怀着紧张的`心情，上了台，面对着人山人海，心跳得更快了，原本生疏的歌，唱到后来就流畅了，这时，我突然发现周围的人都没在做动作，我看见人家没做，我也就没做“怎么办，这样唱会得倒数第一的”
突然，发生了一个意外，唱到第二首开头竟然出了差错，我们声音慢了下来，似乎每个人都在搜索开头的词语，我眉头紧锁，那首歌好像在我脑海里像放电影一样放着，不一会儿，便极力搜到了那句话，渐渐恢复了状态。唱着唱着，时间一分一秒过去了，随着音乐的结束，我们也下了台。
走下台时，我心里一直希望，希望拿个第三名，因为第一名是不可能了，第二名也算了，一定要第三名，其他人似乎也和我一样，一下台就抱怨，怎么动作没做的一类话，如果时间能逆转，我肯定会边唱边做动作，真不甘心。如果第四名可就惨了，一格黑格啊！
成绩终于下来了，果然，如我们所愿第三名，每个人都在心里默默的叫了一声“耶”

长城有二十多个世纪的历史。它的第一部分是在春秋时期建造的。战国时期，有更多的城墙被用来保卫不同王国的边界。正是在秦朝，秦国把帝夫的发福部分统一为一个帝国。为了把敌人赶出他的帝国，秦始皇把所有的城墙连在一起。于是，长城诞生了。
长城的宽度足以让五匹马或十个人并排走。沿着墙的是瞭望塔，士兵们常常在那里守望。当敌人到来时，在塔上点燃了火作为警告。
在古代没有任何现代机器的情况下，很难建造这样一堵墙。所有的工作都是手工完成的。成千上万的人死了，被埋在他们建造的城墙下。长城不仅是由石头和泥土建成的，而且是几百万人的血肉所组成的'。
今天，长城不仅对中国人，而且对来自世界各地的人都有兴趣。他们中的许多人都知道中国著名的谚语:“没有到达长城的人不是真正的人。”

到了暑假，妈妈又帮我报了一个初一英语预习班，放假第一天我正在新图书馆里与好朋友读书，突然妈妈冲了进来啦，拉起我就走，我连忙问妈妈，妈妈含糊的说了句：“英语开始了。”我只能跟朋友们告别，恋恋不舍中带着生气——放假第一天就学英语，真讨厌！
到了英语班，我发现胡老师讲课真的很有趣，在我眼里一个个生硬的单词变成了一个个小小可爱的精灵，一个个音标，单词，字母都有趣了起来，从此枯萎的英语成了最有趣的一个学科了。
上了初中，由于前面的预习我觉得很轻松，你今年爱上了英语，上课时的每一分钟我都很认真的听，下课时我也会好好的'复习，终于在一次英语考试中我拿到了96。5分的好成绩。要知道在小学我就是七八十多分。
