　　The spring fetival is coming , every family is busy with purchasing their own festival goods. Certainly, my family is so. That day, I and my mother go and select our own year goods.

　　In the supermarket , i choose my favourite candy and food. We choose meat , sugar and melon seeds. Till 5:00 pm, we take our year goods go home. What a happy day.

　　Modern folk custom to celebrate the Spring Festival is called the New Year. In fact, the origin of the year and Spring Festival is very different.

　　So how did the year come about? The arrangements they have to make for family reunions， buying necessities and preparing food keeps them busy throughout the holiday. Many of them travel back home and meet friends over dinner and drinks. The celebrations include decorating the house and setting off fireworks.

Some may say th a sign that people have become less caring about their near and dear ones， but we should see th development as a time- and energy-saving exerce granted by the information age.
