　　中国的万里长城被称为“万里长城”。事实上，它有6000多公里长。它蜿蜒地从西向东，穿过沙漠，越过高山，穿过山谷，直到最后到达大海。它是世界奇观之一。

　　长城有二十多个世纪的历史。它的第一部分是在春秋时期建造的。战国时期，有更多的城墙被用来保卫不同王国的边界。正是在秦朝，秦国把帝夫的发福部分统一为一个帝国。为了把敌人赶出他的帝国，秦始皇把所有的城墙连在一起。于是，长城诞生了。

　　长城的宽度足以让五匹马或十个人并排走。沿着墙的是瞭望塔，士兵们常常在那里守望。当敌人到来时，在塔上点燃了火作为警告。

　　在古代没有任何现代机器的情况下，很难建造这样一堵墙。所有的工作都是手工完成的。成千上万的人死了，被埋在他们建造的城墙下。长城不仅是由石头和泥土建成的，而且是几百万人的'血肉所组成的。

　　今天，长城不仅对中国人，而且对来自世界各地的人都有兴趣。他们中的许多人都知道中国著名的谚语:“没有到达长城的人不是真正的人。”

　　做到第十一大题时，我的同组同学虞恕因为讲话被扣了10分。孙老师说，如果下一个讲话的同学会被扣掉20分。我听了，赶紧埋头继续做题。突然，我看到同组的吴欣颖正在给虞恕传纸条，我的好奇心上来了，在虞恕看完后我也伸出了手表示想看一下。就在虞恕把纸条放在我手上的'那个瞬间，我听到孙老师的声音：“陈则羲扣20分！”我大吃一惊，还没等我解释，孙老师就已经扣了我的分数。我告诉孙老师我没有说话，但是孙老师不相信，这真是大大地伤了我的自尊心啊！

　　爸爸妈妈下班回家后，我把这件事告诉了他们。爸爸妈妈告诉我，考试时候传纸条是不对的。在他们的教育下，我认识到了自己的错误。以后一定要吸取教训啊！

　　在成长的道路上，我们常听到：“人因梦想而伟大”以及“天下无难事，只怕有心人。”，然而我有个梦想，那就是当个英文老师。

　　我想当一个英文老师，因为我觉得英文不但很重要，还是国际语言，如果大家都会英文，有外国人来可以和他们说话，出国去玩也可以跟外国人对话，自己旅行也不成问题呢！会英文只要身高够高也可以当空姐、把英文翻译成中文的`翻译官或医生等，学会英文后在日常生活也很方便。

　　我现在每个星期的星期二、星期四、星期六都会去上英文课，上了两年的课，我们现在正在上Storyfun for Movers的课本，是剑桥英文检定考的课本，应该是明年一月要考试，只要每天练习念课文、背单字及练习句型一定可以拿到好成绩的，我可以在家里把我念的单字录起来，到哪里都可以听，也可以用星期六早上请小姨帮我加强。
