这周，学校举行英语周活动。在老师的推荐下，让我去参加英语歌曲比赛。终于，比赛的日子到了，我走进大礼堂，看见大礼堂里坐着好多人，我的'心开始忐忑不安起来，总是想：万一我唱错了怎么办？万一忘记歌词怎么办？万一……比赛开始了，我们班的俞力铭第一个上场，只见他胸有成竹地唱起来，还加了许多活泼的动作，台下的观众都被深深地吸引了。唱完以后，俞力铭看到我害怕的样子，说：“别怕，只要你把下面的观众当成萝卜白菜就可以了。”
该轮到我上台了，我暗暗地为自己“鼓劲”：别慌，我能行，一定能行的。我挺直了腰杆，大胆地走上台去，为大家唱起了一首《彩虹歌》，随着优美的歌声，我慢慢地忘记了紧张，越来越放松，越唱越好。演唱结束了，台下响起了一阵雷鸣般的掌声，我的心里甜滋滋的。
经过了这次难忘的英语歌曲比赛，使我深深明白了：无论做什么事，实际上都不像我们想象中的那么难，只要对自己充满信心，就一定能成功。

我们的英语老师，有一头乌黑乌黑的头发，特别的开朗，活泼，记得在我上三年级下学期的时候，老师眼看着快要到学期末了，为了让大家考好成绩，就不断的出卷子，让我们做卷子，多见见题型，这样我们就可以考好成绩，可每次我都考不好，我打算放弃不在练老师发的卷子了，老师这个时候走过来，说：“不要灰心，不要放弃，要时时刻刻的提醒着自己，我一定行。”在老师的话中我有所感悟，并知道了老师对我的希望，老师鼓励我每做一份卷子，她检查一份，当我做了数不清的卷子时，我终于考了一个100分，期末考试到来了，我怀着一颗紧张的心来到了考场，考试开始了，当时卷发的.我说了的时候，我大吃一惊，心惊胆战，这么难的题，我能考100分么？就在这个时候，我的心里突然想起了老师的那句话，就是，加油、加油一定是100分，啊！老师谢谢你对我的鼓励，当考试结束后，我果然是100分。
