　　Our classroom building is in the north of our school. It has seven floors. There are four classrooms on every floor. On the first floor there is a gym. On the third floor there are two computer rooms for students. The science labs are on the second，fourth and fifth floor. The language lab is on the sixth floor. We often have English classes in the language lab. On the seventh floor there is a library, a reading room. A computer room for the teachers is also on the seventh floor.

　　When we want to look for information we can go to the computer room at noon. When we want to borrow books, the library is open every afternoon. The reading room is open from Monday to Friday the whole day.

　　到了高中阶段，不少学生对英语科的学习产生畏惧心理，有不少甚至会想到放弃，这其中有学生的因素，也有教师的因素。英语教学的现实情况是，很多英语教师为了让学生考出好的分数，只是拼命地要学生背单词、语法、句型、课文，挤压式教学占据主导地位，导致学生产生厌学情绪。长此以往，学生应付考试还可以，实际运用能力就完全不行。有不少学生感觉自己一直都在勤奋学习，但始终摸不到学好英语的门路，提不起学习英语的兴趣。因此，如何调动学生学习英语的兴趣和积极性这个难题就摆在了我们面前。在多年的教育教学实践中，我总结了几条经验，供大家讨论。

　　一、变“一言堂”为“群言堂”，让师生关系更融洽

　　课堂是学生学习的主阵地，这是我们广大教育工作者的共识，我们广大教师都明白这样一个简单的道理：学生只有“亲其师”才能“信其道”。因此，在教学过程中，尤其是课堂上，一定要重视和学生处理好关系。我在自己的课堂一般会采用这样的方式与学生进行交流：第一堂课，我从来不进行知识的讲解，而是和学生谈话，与他们拉近距离。比如，让他们进行自我展示，进行自我介绍，谈谈对学习的认识，对英语学科的认识，谈谈自己的人生理想和奋斗目标等。这样，一堂课就在轻松愉快的气氛中很快地度过，学生对下一节课一定充满期待，还愁学生不喜欢英语课，不喜欢英语教师？在轻松把学生引上路之后，我更加重视学生的人格。高中生的生理和心理已经基本成熟，你对他们好，他们非常清楚。在我的课堂上，我尊重、关心每一个学生，尤其是对待后进生，我从来就不歧视，而是给他们更多的机会，简单的问题让他们回答，给他们树立自信。这样坚持下来，班级后进生对英语学科的学习也充满兴趣和信心，何愁学习成绩不提高？高中生都清楚自己的目标，所以尖子生的.工作并不难，你要做好的就是疏导他们的思想，理顺了他们的思想，他们的干劲比谁都足。当然，做思想工作我也不是只说教，而是和他们从拉家常入手，因为我的儿子在高中进步很大，我就经常拿我儿子说事，把他作为榜样让学生明白自我调节的重要性、自我努力的必要性。这样，尖子生的学习劲头也足了。“抓两头，促中间”，“抓一点，带一片”，学生的整体成绩还愁上不去？

　　二、尊重学生个性，转变教学理念，真正因材施教

　　兴趣是最好的老师。学生学习英语的态度和方式决定了学生英语成绩的高低，对教师来说最好的办法就是培养学生的兴趣，树立学生学习英语的信心。要培养兴趣树立信心，首要的就是消除学生的心理障碍，认真分析每个学生的个性，采用合适的方法来教学。在刚接手一个新班级很短的时间内，我一定会通过问卷调查、个人介绍、个别谈话等方式了解学生对英语学习的看法和认识，全面了解他们在初中阶段基础打得怎么样，然后根据学生的个体差异，正确处理好影响每个学生的心理因素。对英语成绩好的学生多多引导，对英语成绩不好的则要多多鼓励，让每个学生都对学英语充满自信和兴趣。我的做法就是经常和学生聊天，拉家常，及时了解他们的思想动向，然后有的放矢地采取相应的措施。对不同水平的学生，提出不同要求，发放不同习题。分散难点，降低难度，因材施教。

　　三、融合生活和学习，调动学生积极性

　　课堂的主人是学生，课堂的主体是操练实践，只有进行大量的操练，才能进一步让学生掌握知识。每当讲到与生活息息相关的文章时，我都会把生活与教学有机地结合在一块。比如，一些饮食方面的词汇，我让学生画出我们常见的事物，学生非常兴奋地去画，然后请学生用单词把这些食物介绍给外国的游客，学生试着用英语去表达，我们用小组合作的方式进行，让学生扮演不同的角色进行讨论，试着进行不同的角色扮演，你说给我听，我说给你听，尽可能地让学生在不同角色中得到充分的锻炼，学生操作兴趣浓，既可以训练学生的口语交际能力，又可以巩固单词、句型，提升学生的练习兴趣和实际应用能力。我还曾经要求学生自己准备食物和水果，让学生对食物和水果用英语进行设计、包装、介绍，并模拟市场销售，在课堂上出售，学生认真地选取自己认为满意的食物或水果，运用自己所学的知识认真包装、介绍，整堂课气氛热烈，学生上起来劲头十足，上完课了还意犹未尽。

　　四、用多种导课手段，注重吸引学生注意力

　　为了能更好地激发学生的兴趣，让学生对每节英语课都充满期待，我还注重精心设计每节课的导课方式，有以下方式经常使用：

　　1.利用图片、卡片和插图

　　充分利用每篇课文的插图和与课文有关的具体实物等，开展听说活动，从而引出课文的主题。

　　2.学生演讲

　　每节课前由一名学生进行课前演讲，主要是锻炼口头表达能力和应变能力。

　　我们要努力改变英语课堂教学活动中普遍存在着讲得多、练得少的问题，试图以教代学，最后达不到预期的教学效果。因此在英语课堂教学过程中，我们要结合学生的具体情况，根据学生的兴趣、爱好、好奇心等情况，采取灵活多样的教学方式，启发学生的思维，充分调动学生学习的积极性，在愉快、轻松的环境中使学生掌握相关的英语知识，并且可以在实际生活中得以运用，真正把课堂还给每一个学生。
