Unable to regain the respect of the emperor，in his sorrow Chu Yuan threw himself into the Mi Low river. Because of their admiration for Chu Yuan， the local people living adjacent to the Mi Lo River rushed into their boats to search for him while throwing rice into the waters to appease the river dragons.
Although they were unable to find Chu Yuan，their efforts are still commemorated today during the Dragon Boat Festival.

今天下午要上英语课时，老师在黑板上写了一组英语单词是“raining cat sand dogs”,让我们讲一讲它的意思。我低下头思索着：cats,dogs是“猫”和“狗”的复数形式，表示“许多猫”和“许多狗”，raining是“雨”的意思。合起来是什么呢？我正在冥思苦想，有同学举起说说：“天上掉下来很多猫和狗。”顿时教室里的同学们哄堂大笑起来，互相交头接耳，都在讨论这个词语的意思，最后还是老师解开了谜团。老师说：“同学们英语学得还可以，记住了每个单词的含义。”这几个单词合起来的意思是倾盆大雨。英语和汉语一样，一些单词和单词组合起来有特殊的'含义、固定的用法，就像汉语的成语、谚语似的。刚才老师说的这几个单词合起来，就不是单个儿的意思了，而是“倾盆大雨”的意思。

这不，过几天就是英语期末考试了，而这两天的我还是没有开始复习，因为我实在是不知道怎样复习，也不知道如何复习，可是我怎么也不会忘记什么是英语，期末考试这是最主要的一个学科，因此就必须复习！
在这个时候就需要发挥人际关系，和其他的班级互相问问，相互之间交流一下，在几经周折之后我终于知道了一些内容，这是其他班级里的'老师透露的内容，不过只是英语作文题目以及一些翻译，然而其他的东西就不知道了！不过有复习的方向总比没有好，所以这也算是一个复习方向！
我在这个时候就准备把这些东西背诵会，因为期末考试的时候很难用小抄，所以背诵一下做的就是两手准备，因此我在这个时候就是不断的背诵，我希望这些东西可以真的考出来，那么我就有一些把握及格了！
