　　I used to think Beijing must be a grand and special city, given that it was the capital of China, and lots of events I have heard took place there. But soon after I got off the plane, I knew all was but my illusion. If I had to use one wordto describe it, nothing but “grey” will fulfil the task. As far as your eyes could see, all was covered in dust and haunted by air pollution.

　　Though it was the first time I had been to the North part of China, I was still surprised by the sharp contrast between the South and North. It wasn't hearsay.

　　还记得那天是周三，早上我看了一下课程表，发现今天没有英语课，我就没有带英语书。

　　等我到了学校，问了一下同学，今天有没有英语课，他们都说有。这会儿我被吓坏了。没带英语书可是要抄写的！我叹了一口气。现在我的脑海中只有5个字——-不上英语课。

　　这上午过得真快，每次都是我忘记带什么书的时候，时间过得飞快！

　　该来的，总是要来的。

　　中午吃完饭，我们开始排练舞蹈。排练的时候，我的脑中似乎只有舞蹈的动作，没有英语课这三个字。……排练了一会儿就结束了，排练舞蹈的时间是20分钟，也就是半节课的时间。当我们女生一进门的时候，所有人的步伐变得很慢，跟个机器人似的。邓老师看见了，让我们快点上楼。我们只有上楼去上英语课了。当我来到教室里的.时候，发现同学们正在认认真真的听老师讲英语书呢！我的心就像猫见了老鼠似的害怕。突然老师说了一句话：“大家把考试卷子拿出来。”这个时候我真想跳三尺高。当我准备拿卷子的时候，很吃惊，我竟然没有带英语考试卷。老师又多给我留了一样作业——-“抄写”。

　　我今天怎么这么倒霉呢！今天我过得真是“惨不忍睹”啊！真希望我能早点和今天说“再见”。

I had ordered a hamburger, a bag of chips, fried chicken and a cup of coffee. I quite enjoyed them, and we stayed there for nearly an hour. I really have had a good time, and hope to go there again.
