　　Respecting Our Parents

　　Dear editor,

　　Nowadays, there exists an increasingly severe phenomenon that teenagers dont show respect to their parents. As we can read in newspaper or watch in TV, some teenagers quarrel with parents, some talk back and some even resort to violence. As to this problem, Id like to advance several proposals as follows.

　　Initially, we should realize that its our parents who give us lives. Without parents, we can not live in this world. Therefore, the importance of respecting our parents can not be overemphasized. Whats more, it goes without saying that we have to remember the birth day of our parents, when we can express our gratitude to them. None the less, respecting our parents should be done from every detail. Just as a proverb goes, piety is above all.

　　To sum up, respecting parents is our traditional virtue in China. No matter how old we are, its a priority to respect our parents.

　　黄老师是我们的英语老师，她的小嘴巴里，会冒出发音标准的字母、单词、句子、还会冒出自编的笑话，让我们开怀大笑。

　　这天，是五年级开学以来，第一堂英语课。大家都期待着黄老师的精彩笑话，“同学们，不要再留恋暑假的美好时光，赶快切换成英语频道！有些人的肉体还坐在这里，魂还在天上飘着呢。还有些人不想切换英语频道，我将送他英语大礼包，里面有许多英语习题，让他重新修好大脑，再切换成英语频道。”哈哈，我们被黄老师说的话，逗得捧腹大笑，乐得不可开交。她又说：“同学们，请把眼睛看向我看，不看的话，小心让我把你的眼珠拿出来，擦擦亮，耳朵不听我讲话的，就把耳朵揪下来，帮你擦一擦。好了，言归正传，让我们来学第一单元。”

　　黄老师在黑板上写下了标题“Goldilocks and three bears”。真正的英语课堂开始了。这篇英语短文，其实是一篇童话，在黄老师讲到主角Goldilocks品尝汤味儿的时候，拿出了三个水杯，假装是汤碗，开始喝汤了。第一碗汤很冰，当黄老师喝下汤时，“啊！”叫了起来，还张开了嘴巴，摇晃着身体，眼神也象被冰住似的，瞪着眼睛，只往前看，看样子，黄老师就像是在寒冷的冬天被冻住了，她说“This soup is too cold ”。黄老师继续品尝了下一碗汤，“呀！”黄老师又大叫一声，接着用手扇风到嘴里，脸蛋微红，舌头都伸出来了，可想而知，这碗汤肯定很烫，黄老师又像到了夏天，天热的`都可以在地上煎鸡蛋了，黄老师说“This soup is too hot！ ”，黄老师尝了尝最后一碗汤，竟一下把所有的汤，都倒进了嘴里，喝了个精光，还不忘舔舔嘴巴周围，看看还有没有剩余的汤汁，也许，黄老师又到了春天或者秋天，不冷也不热。这时，她又做了个享受的表情，并说“This soup is just right ”我们都笑开了。

　　这堂好玩的英语课还将会继续，黄老师的小嘴巴里，又会冒出更多的笑话，我在想，下次，什么时候上英语课？

They base their opinion on the following reasons: on one hand, cooperation can build trust between each other and help to bring long-term relationship; on another hand, cooperation can turn a small and weak business into a big and strong one.

　　From what has been discussed above, we may safely draw a conclusion that both competition and cooperation are essential to success and thus should be emphasized at the same time.

Therefore, I could face difficulties.When I was a baby learning to walk, my mother always lent me a hand and encouraged me to get up while I fell down. As I finally threw myself into her arms, her eyes smiled with praise. Later as I grew up, I met with more difficulties. But whenever I was frustrated, my mother's eyes always gave me hope and encouragement. 。Once I failed in exams, my mother encouraged me to find out the reasons.
