　　maybe you forgot you had spent the money onsomething else yesterday afternoon. its also possible that a pocketpicker stole your money while you were shopping. or maybe you lost it on your way home. and one last possibility is that you havent lost it at all. you put on a different jacket this morning, and you happened to leave 10 yuan in the jacket earlier. so the missing money still must be in the other jacket, the one you were wearing yesterday!

　　上个月，希望之星昂立英语大赛报名了！我兴奋不已，立刻报上名，拿到了一个名额。

　　报上名后我才知道，全市有二千多人参加这次比赛，选拔赛后只有500个晋级名额，一听到这个消息，我马上像泄了气的皮球，没有信心了。那天晚上，轮到我上场了，我从容地走上台，勉强把稿子背了一遍，下台后才发现嘴里竟还含着口香糖呢！没想到公布成绩时我竟然也晋级了！真让我又惊讶又高兴！

　　复赛时，我的分数不是很高，但还是顺利晋级。这下我忽然担心起来，生怕决赛时被刷下来了。回家后，我又把稿子重新修改了一遍，把每个单词、每个句子都反复朗读，做到精确无误，还用心设计了每一个动作。我信心满满地走上台，一开口，评委的`脸上就露出了笑容，我流畅地做着自我介绍、演讲、才艺展示。我们五个人都讲完了，评委进行了认真的点评，最后公布成绩——— 我取得了我们组的最高分！这一次又顺利晋级了！我高兴得心花怒放，合不拢嘴。妈妈也高兴地抱着我亲了又亲。
