　　现在有n多小学生都讨厌英语。是啊，英语，这个我们熟悉又不熟悉的词语，不过，我们为什么要学英语啊？有些人连母语都学不好，何况英语呢？有些人曾经为了讨厌学英语而离家出走，和家长顶嘴，吵架，为了不去上英语课外班逃课。这些我们都知道，有些人恐怕都亲身经历过这些吧。但我想，他们一定不想这样的。没办法，谁让都是给英语逼得啊！

　　据说，英语这门科目已经被逐出高考科目了，还有人说，没多久，数学也将要逐出高考科目。这件事无不对大家，特别是高考的同学，都十分高兴。可是在这之前，大家不要忘了，还有小升初，中考，这两个“拦路虎”。这年头，最让家长头疼的.就是这三件事了：小升初，中考，高考。我就是其中受害者之一啊……不过我跟中考和高考还差的远，我即将要面对的是小升初！迫在眉睫啊！

　　好了，回归正题，继续聊英语这件事吧。虽说吧，英语是现在全国通用语言，英语可以让我们和不同国家的人进行交谈，英语可以开发脑子的灵活性？此说来，英语还不错。

The news media even gets involved. For instance, a British short film once shown on April Fool's Day was a fairly detailed documentary about "spaghetti farmers" and how they harvest their crop from the spaghetti trees. Whatever the prank, the trickster usually ends it by yelling to his victim, "April Fool!"

　　April Fool's Day is a "for-fun-only" observance. Nobody is expected to buy gifts or to take their "significant other" out to eat in a fancy restaurant. Nobody gets off work or school. It's simply a fun little holiday, but a holiday on which one must remain forever vigilant, for he may be the next April Fool!

In Scotland, April Fools Day is 48 hours long and you are called an "April Gowk", which is another name for a cuckoo bird.
