　　However,it's rather ridiculous to think numbers can bring good fortune to people.One's success has nothing to do with the number which one chooses,but is rather related to one's own efforts.Numbers are only numbers.We should not attach too much importance to them.If you really think a lucky number can bring good luck to you,simply choose it,but don't forget to still go out of your way to make your own effort.Without your own contribution,good luck won't simply fall on you automatically.

Another solution is to develop modern public transportation systems and restrict the use of private cars. If the price of petrol rises constantly and the public vehicles are efficient and convenient enough, most people will not buy private cars. Thus, the total number of cars in big cities will reduce greatly.

　　就在一个月前，我和郑凯慧意外的被选为参加英语演讲比赛。

　　第一个任务就是自我介绍。天哪我连最简单的写作，写短短的一片英语作文都不会，还叫我写自我介绍，这不是比登天还难吗?我只好硬着头皮自己写一点，网上翻译一点，东拼西凑出一篇文章。之后，我便尝试着一点一点的背诵。可开头就把我给难住了：小学的英文叫做“elementary school”这么长的英语单词可怎么读呀!我又是问老师又是查电脑，终于把它克服了!之后，我又是准备十篇文章，又是读书本上的英语小短文，所有的一切都准备好了，就只差东风了!

　　12月11日，我怀着忐忑不安的心情出发了。很快，我们就到达了目的地。在准备的报告厅里，人声鼎沸，一会儿从东面传来“Hello,every one.”一会儿西面又高呼 “My name is…”。这使我这颗本来就没做好准备的心怦怦直跳。在准备的过程中，我心不在焉，一心只注视着别人的一举一动。终于轮到我了，在比赛室外的那一分钟等待，可把我折磨透了。一会儿传来比赛者清脆的.声音，一会儿又听见评委老师的窃窃私语。但是，当我一步入比赛现场，我倒不那么紧张了，从刚开始的自我介绍声音颤抖不一，到最后的流利平稳，似乎在这短短的七八分钟里有了翻天覆地的变化。终于我的比赛结束了。

　　从小屋里走出来的一瞬间，我真的长舒了一口气。不管结果怎么样，这都不是最重要的，不管有没有晋级，这都是对我英语水平的锻炼，是对我的肯定。我一定会继续努力的!
