All these functions can help man in handling difficult or complicated situations. But technological advance often cuts both ways. Computerization, or for that matter automation, can lead, for example, to unemployment and unemployment in turn will create social problems. 　　看到别的同学都在上英语班，我觉得我的英语也不能比别人差呀，于是我也报了英语班。

　　去年下半年，我报了一个英语班，就在师大清洁队的小二层楼上，我上的是三年级班，我四年级的几个朋友也在那上四年级班。上了一学期，觉得不过瘾。

　　我这学期跟着好朋友，到他上的英语班去听了一节课。这个英语班叫“加特英语”，去了才发现还有我的两个好朋友也在那里上。老师也是位女老师。班里用的`是《新概念英语》（青少版），老师完全用英语讲课，还讲音标。由于是插班，虽然有的听不太懂，但才听了一节课，我就喜欢上了这个英语班。

　　这个英语班课堂气氛很活跃，很好玩，而且学音标能让我们学起单词的发音来更容易、更标准。现在我遇到不认识的单词能大概拼着读出来了呢！

　　课堂上还有小活动，不过每节课都不一样，有时候是翻图片得分，有时候是吹瓶子上的扑克，还有时候是白板上画的猫抓老鼠……总而言之，花样层出不穷。

　　这个英语班每个班不超过十名学生，是因为有的同学不来了，我才插班进来，加上我才九名学生。每个星期上两次课，周四17：00——18：30；周六18：30——20：30。课前课后还有一对一的检查与辅导，没课的日子还会有电话辅导。老师还会给我们发背书奖卡和纪律奖卡，奖卡可以换一些小奖品，如英语本、铅芯等。

　　加特英语的目标是让学生在听、说、读、写、唱及情景故事的趣味课堂教学中做到学以致用，彻底告别哑巴英语，提高学生的综合能力。

　　上了几次课，爸爸说我的英语有了明显的进步，我还要继续努力哟，把他们以前学的我还要补上，争取获得更加优异的成绩。
