　　今天是一个异常紧张的一天，因为今天下午要英语口试考试。

　　虽然现在已是初一下学期，对于考试也是有经验的了，但还是避免不了紧张的情绪，主要是自己缺乏一种自信吧！再加上我英语本身不好，上次月考考得还不错，让自己感到自己如果不比上次考得好的话就是一种退步。

　　这种心里压力无疑是极大，就像知道自己死亡期限了，只能眼睁睁地看着时间慢慢流逝，却无能为力改变这一切。所以整个人看起来有些消沉，就这样时间一直流到了下午第四节课，这时的我不知该复习什么好，却又感觉什么地方都要去看去背，这种纠结的`心理只会让时间流逝得更快，于是我做了一个决定，那就是做作业，暂时不复习了，这个决定在我以前甚至当时看来是很荒唐的，分明要考试了，居然不去复习，还在这儿做作业！但这个看似荒唐的决定也是仔细地、深思熟虑过的，第一，现在这种情况无疑是浪费时间，与其干坐着还不如做作业呢；第二，曾经也遇到过类似的情况，第四节课背书因为感觉背得不熟，害怕被“打”下来，于是排到了后面，到自己时又不敢去，结果打铃了，课也没背到作业也没做。

　　于是我就这样去做了，不知不觉心好象静下来了，这种感觉玄之又玄，分明没有复习，却对考试有了信心，紧张感消失了大半。

　　吃完饭，到口度时不免还是紧张，说的过程有些音自己认为都没准，但却不再着急，不紧不慢地说下去，老师也是一脸微笑看着我，更让我信心大增。考完了后心态与以前考试相比又不同了，要是以前的话，肯定是感到有块大大的石头从心中落下来，但这次却比之前的轻小许多，这是好事，说明我对考试已不再那么紧张，不过，平时还要更专心地、认真地学习，毕竟强大的自信来自于坚实的基础！

　　Almost all the villagers come to my mother when their baby is due. My mother is very good at predicting the day the baby will come. Sometimes my mother will not get enough sleep if the babies come late at night or early in the morning. There are special rooms for the mother and baby, and usually they stay at the doctor's house about twenty-four hours. We always like to see the new babies get their first bath because they look so red and small.
