　　成老师上课非常有趣。有一次，在讲到动词前面是第三人称单数时，动词要加“s”，而“go”却要加“es”，因为“go”是以元音“o”结尾。为了让我们容易记住，成老师就讲了一个笑话：“‘go’是哥哥，‘es’是糖，哥哥要上厕所，弟弟也要跟着去，哥哥给了弟弟一颗糖，弟弟就不跟着去了。”我们在笑声中记住了要点。

　　在我的记忆中，有过许多的比赛。例如：奥数比赛、语文比赛、作文比赛。可最让我难忘的还是那次英语演讲比赛。

　　记得四年级暑假的一天，我漫步在小区里。忽然，我发现小区的报告亭上有一则广告，上面说我们小区里就要举行一场英语演讲比赛，有外国人过来听。地址：小区物业大厅内。看完之后，我犹豫不决：我到底去不去，如果去我英文不好，如果不去机会难得。

　　这时，我想起了妈妈的一句话：“不是所有的种子都必须要长成参天大树，但如果不努力，就不能破土而出，更不会长成参天大树。”于是，我径直走向了物业的大门，报了名。我回到家以后和妈妈说明了情况，妈妈二话不说，帮我到图文店里打印了资料，我拿起了资料，如饥似渴地读了起来，因为比赛的`时候是要脱稿的，所以我一有时间就拿出来练习。
