　　I dreamt an interesting dream some night,it seemed like a amazing tour for me in the fantasy state.In my dream I become a soldier somehow,and I was sent to the out space to fight against the evil aliens.No other description for the dream is more suitable than that of what happened in the movie Star War.I felt that I could see even clearly how the aliens look like.The battlefield must lie in some planets like Mars or moon.Well I was so scared that I woke up at once when I dreamt that I was chasing by a flood of monsters and I had no where to run.Well that was indeed a totally new dream for me.It has been my first time to dream about wars of which I was a part.Maybe it is a result of watching too many fiction novels these days.

　　一看，原来是爷爷在读英语呢！爷爷一看见我，马上就说：“宝贝孙女啊！来听听爷爷读的英语准不准。”爷爷拿起英语书，一本正经地念：“‘五门’、‘不拿拿’、‘闹醒’……”我愣了，半天反应不过来，“五门”、“不拿拿”和“闹醒”是什么东西啊？我拿过爷爷手中的书，一看，差点摔倒，原来是“woman”、“banana”、“nothing”啊！我哈哈大笑，对爷爷说：“爷爷，这几个单词不是这样读的。”我把正确的读给爷爷听，爷爷一听，哈哈大笑：“原来是这样读啊！我那个年代没接触过英语，现在看电视里有些节目在教英语，所以就很想学，特别是今年是奥运年，所以我就更得学英语了。宝贝孙女啊！你就教教爷爷吧！”我说：“爷爷，奥运会都过去了，你现在学英语也没用。”虽然这么说，但是在爷爷的“苦苦纠缠”下，我只好答应了。

　　People's opinions vary when it comes to this way of killing time. A great number of people maintain that staying indoors is cheap, comfortable, and most importantly, very safe. Others,however, frown upon staying indoors for too long. They are worried that lack of physical exercise and face-to-face communication with others will do harm to people's body and mind.

　　Personally, I don't think staying indoors for most of the day should be advocated. Instead,people in all ages, their physical conditions permitting, should be encouraged to spend more time outdoors. The brilliant sunshine, the pleasant green space, the interactions with other people, etc. are all good for people's health, both physically and psychologically.

　　英语，是全世界通用的语言，只要你会说英语，不管走到哪里，就都不用担心受怕了。

　　我喜欢英语这门学科。最早接触英语的时候是小学三年级，当时学校对这门新开设的功课虽然比较重视，但没有安排单元检测，所以大家上英语课都比较散漫，整个课堂都闹哄哄的，而且我们的老师水平似乎也不高。那个时候，我对英语并不感兴趣。

　　直到五年级，我们换了一个英语老师，这个新老师长得很漂亮，英语说得很好，我很喜欢她。刚开始，我是因为她的美貌，想让她注意我，才在课堂上认真听讲的。后来，我学进去之后，才发现英语很有意思，也很“好学”，因此，我对英语产生来浓厚的兴趣。

　　有一回，我在超市买东西，偶然地看到了一个外国人，因为在那之前我从未看到过外国人，所以对她很好奇。金黄色的长发，棕色的眼睛，高挺的鼻子，简直是深深地迷住了我。我那时就一直看着她，当然，我知道这样是很不礼貌的`，可是我就是对她充满了好奇心。我很想走过去和她说几句话，可是我又不敢。后来，她好像注意到了我，对我笑了一笑。她这一笑简直是让我欣喜若狂，在那一刻，我就下定决心一定要学好英语，一定要能和外国人流利地交谈。

　　班上很多人觉得我上英语课和外教可很激动，确实，我承认，但这也是我喜欢英语的一种方式。我对英语有一种莫名的喜欢，看到老外，我就像是吃了兴奋一样，就算原本不高兴也会变得很高兴。

　　上外教课时，我会很认真地听讲，虽然有很多听不懂，老外抽问时，我也都会积极地举手发言，哪怕是回答不了。我也不会觉得丢脸，因为我站起来回答问题，也是给自己的一次锻炼机会，同时也和老外多接触了一次，所以，哪怕是回答不了问题，我也是很开心的。

　　这个暑假我去看了上海的世博会，我在世博园里大开了眼界，里面有好多的外国人。每看到外国人我都会主动上去邀请他们和我一起拍照。刚开始和老外交流时，我有些害怕，怕自己说不好英语，但是那些热情的外国人个给予了我勇气，让我敢于大声发出邀请，“Can you teke photos with me？”（你能和我一起拍照吗？）当然，在和外国人交涉的时候我也碰过壁，那是在地铁站里，我看到一个外国人，我很开心地看来他一眼，可他却皱着眉头，用不标准的普通话说“不要看我。”这句话让当时的我很是尴尬，因为我从未碰到过这种状况，这次的事，让我注意起对待老外的应有礼节，但这并不影响我对英语的热爱。

　　在一节课上完后，我真正体会到和外教老师学习的乐趣。老师带给我了快乐，使我在不知不觉中获得知识；老师带给我方法，使我有效的学习；老师带给我学习的翅膀，使我在学习海洋里尽情飞翔。英语口语是和外国友人友好交流的第一步，是向对方表述自己思想、观点……交流工具。让我能懂得更多，学得更多。让我锻炼自己的胆量，勇敢地与对方交流，在知识的海洋里尽情畅游。和外教学英语，能让我大声用英语说出来。

　　Currently, many problems concerning the safety of food have popped up. As for me, I believe at least three factors account for this issue.

　　First, I observe that profits drive many food producers to commit illegal things. They aim to gain more money at the expense of consumers health. Second, the overuse of agricultural pesticide has resulted in the degradation of food quality. The excessive pesticide bears enormous health hazard for people. Furthermore, some food producers inject hormones into domestic animals so as to make them grow more quickly and thus they can turn in more profit. As a result, peoples health has been seriously disturbed.

　　All in all, food safety is such a great concern, and we all should do establish laws and implement them effectively to avoid producing toxic foods.

　　点评：首句直接点题，词组pop up指弹起，这里指食品安全突然间成了一大社会问题。

　　文章第二部分从蔬菜生产商、水果滥用农药及激素方面阐释了食品安全问题的根源。Observe除了有观察之意，还可以表示某人的观点;动词commit后面通常接违法或伤害性的'事情，如commit a crime, commit illegal things, commit suicide等等。以消费者的健康为代价除了使用at the expense of 还可以使用at the cost of 或者ignoring。另外，在表达同一意思或相近意思时，此文避免了一词多用，而是采用不同的单词或词组，如劣质食品使用了problems concerning the safety of food, the degradation of food quality和toxic foods。
