一、活动宗旨
英语写作水平是学生英语综合运用能力的集中体现，在中高考中占有十分重要的地位。为了提高全体学生对英语写作的认识与兴趣，为学有所长者提供展示才能的机会，为参加各层次的'英语能力比赛选拔人才，为教师加强个别辅导和提高教学成绩创造机会，落实并彰显我校第二课堂活动特色，特举办我校第四届学生英语作文比赛。
二、参与对象
本校全体初、高中学生。
三、比赛规则
1、活动本着“自由思想，明白表达，独立完成”的原则。各年级老师针对本年级学生实际情况确定写作主题或体裁，要求内容健康，积极向上，写出自己的真情实感。
2、每人在规定期间内现场完成一篇全英文写作，要求作品必须原创，杜绝抄袭，字数不少于150字（初中组）或300字（高中组）。
四、奖励方法
1、本次活动要求各班学生人人参与，之后每班选拔5名优秀选手代表班级参加现场作文比赛，由年级统一评比，设奖比率为一等奖20%， 二等奖20%，三等奖20%，优秀奖若干名。
2、本次比赛活动由新世界康桥赞助，提供技术指导与奖状奖品。届时将在学校报告厅举行金岸中学第四届“康桥杯”英语作文大赛颁奖典礼暨英语沙龙。
3、组织部分优秀学生作品代表学校参加“第九届奥林匹克杯全国英语作文大赛”。获奖学生及指导老师均会获得相关荣誉奖励。
五、日程安排：
1、20xx年3月26日（第七周星期三）各班动员学生积极参加第四届“康桥杯”英语作文大赛，并组织学生参加班级的英语写作选拔赛，以确定代表班级参加学校第四届英语作文现场比赛的选手名单。
2、20xx年4月2日（第八周星期三）每班选派5人于下午5:10---6:00在报告厅参加现场英语写作比赛，由科组统一装订后分发年级老师交叉评分（采用二评，初中15分制，高中25分制）。
3、4月9日（第九周星期三）各年级组统计比赛成绩，确定获奖等次，并将作文及名单汇总于科组整理备奖。
4、4月25日下午5:10（第十一周星期五第八节课）在报告厅举行颁奖典礼暨英语沙龙活动。
5、4月30日（第十二周星期三）按第九届奥林匹克杯全国英语作文大赛要求上交参赛作品并邮寄（电子版）。
附：20xx学年全校各年级参赛名额分配如下：

After climbing the mountain, we went to Lucia's home. We read books, sang songs, played electronic organ, ate noodles, drew pictures and watched TV. I had a very good time in her home!
At last, I had to come back to my home in Wuzhou, because it was too late.
I really had a very happy day that day. I hope I can play with Sister Lucia in my next vacation.
