　　今天是 12月26日，快乐的圣诞节终于来到了，同时我们又迎来了盼望已久的第二届英语节的到来。

　　下午四点钟，队员们入场了。会场设在学校的学术报告厅，那里早已经是灯火通明，正前方的表演台四周挂满五颜六色的气球，在灯光的照射下，绚丽无比，美丽极了。这时，观众台上也坐满了人，大厅里开着暖气，热烘烘的，整个大厅就像一个大烤箱。

　　随着主持人宣布，此次英语节正式拉开序幕。首先进行了歌舞表演，精彩的节日让参赛选手们也放松了心情。演讲开始了，第一个上场的是我班的刘汝鸿同学，只见他站在台上，很轻松地讲着，十分流畅，也可能是他久经沙场，习惯了这样的比赛吧！（第一届英语节他也参加了）可是到后面，他有点打顿了，一下子就错了两处。这时，我不禁为自己担心起来，心怦怦直跳，头上也冒汗了。

　　这时，刘汝鸿讲完了，接下来就轮到我了，我十分紧张地从他手中接过话筒，走上舞台，心跳加剧，“My friends here……”咦？声音怎么这么小，哦，太紧张了，忘记打开话筒了。我急忙打开开关，放开嗓门，开始了我的演讲。

　　我眼睛目视前方，却不敢看评委，只是集中精力看着桌子，好让自己的心情平静下来。我双手紧紧地握住话筒，手心都握出汗来了，我认真地背着，心里不停地鼓励自己：“千万别紧张，千万不要出错！”终于，我演讲完毕，深深地向评委鞠了一躬，走下台去。心中的这块大石头总算放了下来。

　　接下来，我们班的话剧组上场了，我们使劲为他们鼓掌，话剧按原计划有条不紊地进行着，我从心底暗暗为他们加油。当我看了别班同学表演的.节目是，彻底失望了，他们那精妙的语言，完美的动作和丰富的表情，让我们个个都看得目瞪口呆。但是，评判结果还没下来，我们也不能长他人志气，灭自己威风啊。
