Many people are throwing all kinds of dirty things into the water. Factories are pouring waste material into the water. Therefore, water sources have become so badly polluted that some of the water is unfit to drink or to use. Now it is high time that we should do something to protect our water environment from being polluted.

　　一年一度的“English Festival”又要到了，上一年英语节我未参加，为此还挺遗憾，今年又岂能错过？

　　班里主要筹划了《百万英镑》与《宋定伯》这两个节目，大概有二十人参加吧。这两个剧本情节丰富，英语口语的难度也不低，参加英语节，剧本既有趣，又不乏“技术含量”。且两个节目的演员们都挺上心，下午便分别进行了排练。

　　我们与老师一起在学校排练，《百万英镑》剧组的演员们到齐后就整体性的开始一遍遍排练。

　　《百万英镑》是一部小说，内容当然极为丰富，十分钟左右当然演不完，我们饰演了男主获得百万英镑支票后去买衣服的情节。

　　第一遍整体下来后，用了十几分钟，一是我们并不对自己饰演的角色很有充分的了解，所以很多对话，上下场都误了时间，二是剧情的确不短，对每个人，犹其是“老板”与“青年”有很大考验。

　　一部话剧并不是那么容易就能演的绘声绘色，风趣又有技术含量在内的，它需要通过每个人演员用心的去对戏、背稿，将自己当成所饰演的`角色融入场景，这绝非易事。我们如果可以达到每个演员都融入其的境界，英语节的演出绝对不成问题。

　　但仅仅几小时的排练并不能提高很多，下午，过了几遍戏，老师也对戏做出了一些调整，总体来说，一个大框架算是固定了，最后一遍是七分钟多完成的。每个演员也都对自己的角色、戏分有了较为多的了解，但很多细节，如表情、动作、语气等都还欠缺不少，脱稿对于词多的同学也是一个难题。

　　预选赛不远了，希望勤加练习，《百万英镑》与《宋定伯》两个节目都可以突破重围，获得那五个名额中的一个！
