有一天，在写英语作业的时候，我简直要被这枯燥而又“无味”的英语给弄烦了，我开始想：记单词这么难，难道就没有解决的办法了吗？如果单词记住了，可过了几天又忘了那又怎么办？我带着这两个百思不得其解的问题去请教妈妈，妈妈走到我的书桌旁，看着我已经写了二十多遍的单词，坐下来，语重心长地对我说：“学英语要讲究方法，不能急于求成，要看平时的积累。要是讲到记单词，我告诉你几个窍门儿：
1、写单词的时候要多用心记，写几遍以后要‘回过头’看看对不对，要保证写单词的准确性。
2、记单词要一边念一边写，这样可以加深对单词的印象。
3、记单词要根据发音，把单词分成几截，和已经会背的单词相互对比着记，这样不愁单词记不牢，我学会了学英语。”我听了，心里顿时豁然开朗。妈妈又开口了：“至于怎么让单词忘不了，那就得天天复习，只有这样才能把单词记牢。儿子，只要你记住这几个窍门，以后的英语单词就不用再犯愁了。”我听了妈妈的话，感觉知识的大门又向我敞开了。我照着妈妈的办法，连续试验了几天，记单词真是顺畅多了，我的.英语成绩像发射的火箭一样直线攀升。
现在，我已经成了五年级的学生，但是我还是坚持用这几个窍门儿，它们真是让我受益匪浅。如果没有这几个窍门儿，我的英语成绩不会上升得这么快；如果没有这几个窍门儿，我也不会成为现在我们班的“单词王”；如果没有这几个窍门儿，我更不会有这么大的词汇量。
