　　老郑啊，老郑。

　　晚自习前，英语课代表急匆匆地闯进门来，手中抓着一张纸片，然后揪起一支粉笔，一刻不停地在黑板上写着。这定是她布置的作业了。

　　“她”是我们的英语老师，姓郑，便被我们称为“老郑”。虽然冠以“老”字，其实却是“年轻又美丽的，绝对是颜值担当。但是，她十分严厉，难得一笑。

　　作业不少。扭头望向窗外的天空时，看到夕阳洒出赤色的光芒，天空仿佛又明朗了起来。记忆开始回转。

　　上一个期末，复习紧锣密鼓地进行着。那晚是老郑的自习课，当最后一片火烧云熄灭，世间刚刚黯淡下来时，她走进了教室。和平时一样，她一如既往地把话筒挂在颈上，扩音器别在腰间，手中一支翻页笔上下舞动，一刻不停地讲着，讲着。

　　没多久，下课铃响起，不知是谁伸了个懒腰，发出一声长叹，大概是觉得能歇上几分钟了。可老郑却没有丝毫想下课的意思，责问道：“下课了吗！”

　　她向那同学呵斥着，随后也就没人敢露出要休息的意思了。望望被粉笔字笼罩满的黑板，瞥瞥窗外空洞的`夜，我觉得时间在一秒一秒地艰难挪移。终于，第二节上课铃响后，老郑宣布了下课。

　　此时，老郑进来了。她看到如此出色的他们，孩子般地笑了。我从未见过她笑得如此灿烂，两个耳坠在空中摇曳着，映照出窗外闪耀的阳光。老郑啊，老郑，你笑起来真美。

　　此时的她，就是他们眼中的老郑了吧。

　　恍惚中，我似乎明白了什么：她拼命地上课，拼命地批作业，都是期望让我们变得与那些学哥学姐们一样出类拔萃啊。

　　自此懂得后，就理解了她的一番苦心。

　　有些事就是如此，得等到时光的流水冲刷又退去后，我们才能知道一个人在我们心灵的河底馈赠了什么。

　　“这就是今晚的作业了！赶快写！”课代表把半截粉笔丢进粉笔盒，拍拍桌子喊道。她绝对就是她的影子，我们都深信不疑。
