有一天，爸爸收到一份广告，上面说人才中心要举办艾斯通英语培训班，由老外任教。3月13日，老外在人才中心上公开课，那天上午，爸爸征求了我的意见后，带着我去听公开课。
上课了，进来了两个女老师。爸爸告诉我，那个金发碧眼个子很高的便是老外，旁边那个是中国老师，她是老外的助教，在课堂教学中帮助老外和我们沟通。老外不会说中文，她首先用英语作了自我介绍，接着教我们每个人都用英语说“mynameis……”。那天老外上课的主要内容是人的五官和身体的主要部位，她将这些单词用图形挂在黑板上，并要求我们每个人走到讲台上和她一起边做动作边读。开始，我有些读音发不准，但老外一点都不烦，她耐心地教我很多遍，直到我读准确为止。当同学们读会这些单词后，老外把我们全都叫到讲台上，围成一个圈，由她指着自己身体的部位读，如果对了，我们也用手指着自己身体同样的'部位跟着读；如果错了，看我们谁反应快，纠正老外的“错误”。这个游戏很好玩，同学们都踊跃参与，课堂气氛很浓。游戏结束后，老外还兴致勃勃地教我们学唱英文歌……
老外教英语，真是有趣，她的公开课让我对英语好象有了点兴趣。老外的名字叫玛丽娅，一个澳大利亚人，跟她学英语我很快乐。
