　　我听了一直不信，这回非要亲自去上她的课。第一天上课时她就穿一身灰：灰大衣就像斗篷，灰帽子上还有几个褶，就像扬州灌汤包，穿着一双灰靴子，还戴着一副细边眼镜。如果再加上银白的胡子，那就是魔法学校的校长阿不思。登不利多了！

　　一上课，我就领略到英语曹的特点了。她上课从不是等学生举手再点名回答的。在她的.课上回答问题从不用举手，要么直接站起来，要么就是“地毯式”提问，她的手挥到哪一排，那一整排的学生就是一个紧接一个机关枪扫射似得迅速回答，常常头一个还没说完，后一个都蹦起来了。没跟上的则站着再说一遍。大家一站一起，像在玩“打地鼠”一样，掀起一层波浪。这样就像铺地毯一样，哪个角落的学生回答不上？这样精神高度紧张，学生哪有走神的时间。既能让每个人都回答，又加快回答的时间，充大一节课的容量。能不一下上完三节课吗？

　　英语曹除了课上得快，记单词也快。她常常用谐音或小故事来记。像国籍这个单词，被她用谐音记成“奶昔奶利提”她说这像一种糖的名字，我们对甜食感兴趣就会记得快。比如“通常”这个词她是这样记的“usua”就是“有儿有女”，因为这个人既生男孩又女孩，所以后面“lly”就是他高兴笑得直打嗝。有时她为了让我们记忆深刻，让我们边做动作边记，她自己甚至会在讲台上挑起舞来。经过她这样声情并茂的记法，记单词果然不费事了。

　　她不仅教得快，且风趣幽默，语言丰富。她看有的同学并不认真学，就用满口的淮南方言说：“你们要是不学，为什么还交钱来上课？就像你去买菜，你对卖菜的说只把钱扔给他，不拿走菜，根本不管菜一样，傻不傻”。同学们听了都笑了。
