　　中午，我一回到家，就飞快地拿出了英语练习本认认真真地写了几遍，接着选了一张写的最好的下午到校后交给了英语老师，英语老师细致地指导了我，比如竖要写直，行笔手不要抖等，我牢牢记在了心里，接下来的两天我按照英语老师的指导一遍又一遍地规范地练习，我进步得很快，我在心里暗暗地想：有付出一定会有收获！只要努力这次比赛我一定能得一等奖。

　　转眼间到了英语书法比赛的日子，我快速向比赛地点跑去，到了地方，老师一发下试题，我就不由紧张起来，要书写的内容很多，(有十个单词，和很长一段话）可又有什么办法呢？我只能耐下性子来好好写，刚刚写了一个开头，我就开始手心出汗，又往下写了还不到一半，我已经全身大汗淋漓，我急得像热锅上的'蚂蚁团团转，心想：这样紧张下去，比赛肯定无法取得一个好成绩，不行，我得调整情绪，不能太紧张了。于是我连着深呼吸了几下，尽量把字写得不那么歪歪扭扭，眼看快收卷了，我硬着头皮把考题写完交了上去。交上去后，我想：这次可算是写砸锅了，想拿一等奖是不可能了！不一会儿老师们便改完了试卷，评出了一、二等奖，开始发奖状了，老师先念了二等奖的人，但没有我的名字，一种恐惧迅速蔓延了我的全身，我是不是因为写得太烂而没有获奖？我总不能得一等奖吧？我越想越害怕，这时老师念到了获一等奖的同学，竟然念到了我！我万万没想到我竟然是一等奖！我太开心了。

　　可是，第二天早上，我们吃完早餐回到教室，又看到了英语老师忙碌的身影，一堆同学围着她，我们的'英语老师还是和往常一样专心至至的为我们讲题和批改作业，但是，也和往常不一样的是我发现她的右手手掌受伤了，缠着厚厚的绷带。我马上从四面八方偷偷的打听，老师手为什么缠着绷带，后来才知道是老师的手不小心扭到了，而且还挺严重，这时，我情不自禁的想起昨天我对老师一些不好的想法，又情不自禁的想起了之前英语老师对我们的关怀。

　　记得有一天，英语老师发烧了，但是她仍然是勉强得走进教室，一进来，我们就发现她连打几个哈欠，还是用沙哑的声音说了句“上课”，我们听着她那沙哑的声音才知道老师是发烧了，想到这里，我忽然间恍然大悟，错了,错了，我这才从老师对我们成绩的关怀中醒了过来，因为老师担心我们的成绩跟不上去，所以多次带病无微不至的教导我们，我为我之前的想法而感到羞愧。

　　我们英语老师负责任的态度班上无人不知，无人不晓；列如:她每次讲课都很认真，讲完后问我们到底懂没有？如果没有她继续讲，我们感到特别烦躁，所以只好敷衍了事地说了一声懂了。可最终还是逃不过英语老师的负责。她下来检查，检查到我们时，一问三不知，便生气地批评一顿，又上去讲了。顺便给我留了一个特别”奖励”——抄50遍法语。我当时有种说不出的难受，感觉特冤特冤的，但最后还是老老实实地抄了。

　　老师的这般行为不仅体现在讲课方面，在拖堂方面也是数一数二的，在一次课中，因为是放中午课，来自肚中一连串的“信号”迫使同学们都对时间非常重视，有的同学时不时地看表，有的同学已将别的书收好，桌上唯独有英语书。还有的同学还相互讨论还有几分钟。对于我这样的吃货就不一样了，肚子打了一早上的铃声。早就收好了书，一脚迈出课桌外，身体侧倾，如同运动员准备起跑一般。万事具备，就等英语老师的一声下课了。过几分钟，激动人心的下课铃声响了。可是英语老师不以为然，好像什么事都没发生过一样，继续讲着她的课，还叫我们别吵。我们全班瞬间鸦雀无声，只能听英语老师的话了。敢怒不敢言啊！教室里烦闷的气氛霎时加重，只能班上同学一脸的无奈。在这烦闷的.气氛度过漫长的十分钟后，终于解放了。全班人一脸不屑地走出教室气冲冲地走了。

　　虽然让人生气，但是英语老师负责的态度还是让我感到荣幸；荣幸的是我们有这样一位对我们负责任、不离不弃的教师，她将我们如同她子女般教诲，在我们的黑暗道路上化为一盏明灯，照亮着我们前进的道路，使我们不至于迷失人生的方向。对此，我想对这位负责、伟大的人民教师说一声发自内心的感激——谢谢您，老师！
