　　I had a wonderful National holiday last year. My parents took my cousin and me to the beach in Zhu Jiajian. We surfed and caught crabs and built sand sculptures along the beach. I had fun even though the ocean there was not as clear and blue as in Hai Nan and the scenery was not as beautiful either. When I came back home, I did an excellent job on the homework my teacher gave me. I wrote a composition named 《Playing in the Waves in Zhu Jiajian》and it won a prize.

　　every morning i take the subway to school. when i get on the train, i hear the voice from the loudspeaker always announcing the wrong stations name. this is too bad, i have to count the stations or look out of the train window so that i know where to get off. but sometimes i cant see the stations name on the sign at the platform because the train is too crowded. so it is difficult for me to know where i am.to make matters worse, when the same thing happens to foreigners or people from outside beijing, they always get off at the wrong station and lose their way. the subway does make life more convenient for us; it is fast and easy to take.

　　课堂上，老师讲了许多有趣的内容：有单词跟读，有英语对话，还有各种贴画的'展示。其中最让我感兴趣的是黑板上粘出的色彩亮丽的贴画。老师把电视、空调、沙发、桌子、影碟机的图片都贴在黑板上，然后老师点到哪一张图片，我们就准确无误地把英语读出来。接着，我们不是跟平常一样看着黑板读句子，而是看着大屏幕上的句子跟着电脑一块儿读。当时我们太兴奋了，都坐得直直的，大声地跟着读……说也奇怪，平时读好多遍才能记住的句子，这次居然读了两遍就能背下来了。我心想，能用这么先进的设备上课，真不容易呀！它能这么快让我们看到并记住这么多单词和句子，真是太神奇了！我为我们班能有这次学习的好机会而感到庆幸和自豪。
