The happy thing for me is that when I go to high school, I need to live with other roommates from Monday to Friday. At first, I was so excited about the new life without my mother’s babble. I finally could do what I want. But the sad emotion came out after two days. I started to miss my mother’s words, though they were not nice words, I missed her voice. 　　先说语法吧，只要是个句子，就得有一个时态，什么现在进行时，一般将来时。有时态倒不要紧，要紧的是，在英语中，一变时态，就要给主语和动词来个脱胎换骨。还有变复数、比较级，都要把词稍微改动那么一下。如此这般，要把这十八般武艺都操练精熟了，还真不容易。在英语里，还有许多变动方法不规则的词，让人眼花缭乱。这样的词，变动后人们很难猜出它原先是什么，因为它早已是此词非彼词了。而汉字则方便多了，人们只要加上一些表示时态的词就万事大吉，不用再费尽心思地变词。

　　其次，用英语说话也怪费劲的，就说背乘法表，在中国，再“没文化”的'人也知道“不管三七二十一”中的“三七二十一”。而在英语国家，例如英国、美国等，人们根本就没有“乘法表”这个概念。因为用英语根本背不了乘法表!不信你用英语背一下乘法表，肯定是诘屈聱牙，难以成诵。而国人大多都能倒背如流。

　　最后，英语的最大麻烦就是：翻译太死板。富有中国特色的东西，用英语一翻译，就显得生硬呆板，完全变了味儿。就比如中国电影《刘三姐》，本来挺好听的一个名字，但到了英语国家，就变成了可笑的“第三个姐姐刘”。中国成语“如虎添翼”到英国就成了“老虎加上了翅膀”在中国，这个成语是形容人有了得力助手。但在英国，就算你有霍金的智商，华罗庚的推理能力，恐怕你也很难想到它是什么意思。一些英语译成中文，虽然不至于太离谱，但也让人笑痛肚子。“回家过年”居然译成了“十七年”。而当英语译成中文时，总是很准确，就算实在无法翻译，也可以音译。
