我的其它科目成绩都都还不错，唯独英语每次考试都在六十分上下浮动，让我甘拜下风。
记得有一次我英语只考五十多分，妈妈实在是忍无可忍了。于是，她把我叫到书房里，用平和的语气教育我英语以后是多么的重要，学起来多么的简单。可见我冥顽不化，哪里听得进半句。她只好使出狠招，逼着我拿起了笔杆子，写起了英语字母，背起了英语单词，让我束手就擒，还规定我在五点之前不写满两面，背不好五十个单词，就不让我出去玩。讲完后，便“咚”的一声关门出去了。我独自坐在椅子上，想着妈妈的话，闷闷不乐，看着桌子上的小刮痕发起了呆。我突然感觉我的生活好像一块铁锈一样从来就没有发过什么光彩。我没背几个单词，就感到头晕脑胀，对剩下的任务更是愁眉苦脸。
看着窗外自由自在飞翔的'小鸟，蓝蓝的天和白白的云，还有那在小区院子里悠闲自在，互相追逐打闹的小伙伴们，我心里真是哑巴吃黄连——有苦说不出。谁叫我只继承了老妈英语水平的百分之一。这时，我的脑袋似乎灌进了铅，经过了好长时间的努力，才只背了三十个单词。想想等一下就要到达老妈的规定时间，想想还有好多事情没完成，就不禁心惊胆颤。算了，挨骂就挨骂吧，反正也是白费力气。我趴在桌子上，像一只哈巴狗，耷拉着脑袋，时不时长叹一口气，整个人无精打采。关在这间屋子里，如同关在禁闭岛上，仍受着烦闷和无聊。“咚”，“魔鬼”来了。房间里不一会儿就传出来了愤怒的咆哮，响彻整栋楼房。
哎！这样的咆哮不绝于耳，真希望不要再出现了。好烦，好烦……
学习英语的烦恼，像蜘蛛肚子里抽出粘腻的细丝，一圈圈地在我心上缠绕着，让人心慌。
