　　进入小学三年级，女儿初学英语总感觉单词的读法怪怪的。有点好奇，除老师课堂上讲的课本知识外，在路上、家里看到什么，总喜欢问我：“妈妈，用英语这个怎么念？那个怎么念？”对她提出的问题，我有时能回答出来，有时我也不会，查字典也没有结果，寻求网络帮助，查金山词霸、爱词霸，能很快告诉字义、读音、......等，感觉不错，推荐给大家，遇到问题也来试试，或许对你有所帮助。

　　在孩子学习的过程中，我也好像又回到了童年，成了一名小学生。每天早晨起来，在洗脸的.同时，首先打开复读机，和孩子一起听她以前学过的英语句子，潜移默化中孩子也养成了好的学习习惯，自觉不自觉中就将学过的知识重温了一遍又一遍。

　　后来我又发现女儿在拿着课本读的时候，读得很流利，可以说是琅琅上口，有的几乎都会背了。无意间我在搞纸上写了她学过的其中一个单词，问她是什么？怎么读？她定静看了一下后，默不做声了，摇摇头。于是我又让她拿出课本，找出这个单词，她就很熟练得说了出来，这样光会说，不认识可不行啊？将来考试怎么办？本来很自信的她，如果这样是考不出来好成绩的呀？于是我打电话咨询朋友、老师，都说得让孩子记单词的拼写、字义，不过不能急于求成，慢慢来，每天就记一、两个单词，孩子既感兴趣，也不厌烦。我试过，方法很好，很奏效，大家也不妨试一试，看看怎么样？

　　今年暑假，我报名参加了全省少儿英语朗诵电视表演大赛。有三千多人参赛。比赛分为四个组别，分别是：幼儿组、小学A组（我参加的组别）、小学B组、中学组。分初赛、复赛、半决赛、决赛四个赛程。竞争很激烈，从三千人中最后决出四十名选手进入决赛。

　　我抱着试试看的心情参加了比赛，想练练胆子，希望能提高自己的英语水平。初赛的时候，我有些紧张，自我介绍的时候都卡壳了，不过幸好我的英语歌曲唱得不错，顺利过关，进入复赛。

　　复赛的时候，我的心情不那么紧张了，并且增加了一个Story time的才艺展示。几天后，接到了参加半决赛的通知。

　　半决赛在杭州滨江区的浙江艺术职业学院的.演播厅举行。按规定，每个组别是20人参加，但是由于竞争很激烈，我们组有25人参赛，要选出10人参加决赛，比别的组更艰难。结果我发挥较为出色，杀入了决赛。哇，好高兴！

　　一周后，决赛开始。评委也增加到了9个。比赛分为4个环节：自我介绍、才艺展示、即兴演讲和评委提问，要求也更加严格，超过时间就会被卡断。我抽到最后一个出场，由于还是有些紧张，居然漏了一项才艺表演。不过其他都发挥正常。

　　经过2个多小时的比赛和评委的认真评选，奖项正式开出，我获得了这次全省第二届少儿英语朗诵电视大赛小学A组的铜奖。哈哈，真没想到！通过这次比赛，我得到了锻炼，开阔了眼界，也提高了学好英语的兴趣。正像老师说的那样，重要的不是结果，是参与比赛的过程！
