　　A man wanted to buy an ass. He went to the market, and saw a likely one. But he wanted to test him first.

　　So he took the ass home, and put him into the stable with the other asses. The new ass looked around, and immediately went to choose a place next to the laziest ass in the stable.

　　于是他把驴带回家，把它和其他驴放在马厩里。新驴四处张望，马上就在马厩里最懒的`驴的旁边选了一个地方。

　　When the man saw this he put a halter on the ass at once, and gave him back to his owner.The owner felt quite surprised. He asked the man, "Why are you back so soon? Have you tested him already?" "I don't want to test him any more," replied the man.

　　星期四，对于我来说是黑色的一天。

　　课间，高老师走了进来，手里拿着一叠白纸，我知道，那是英语重默的同学。平时我一定会熟视无睹，可是今天我却无法不注意了-------因为我知道昨晚我没有复习好。果然高老师报重默的红榜上有我的大名。

　　下午第四节课，同学们都在坐位上认真地做着回家作业，而我，却做好了准备，和朱志远一起去找高老师重默。我起身离开坐位，和朱志远向前走着，到了门口，原本“风平浪静”的心却颠了起来——班主任徐老师靠在门上，拦住了我们两个。一丝不祥的气息弥漫开来……

　　默完英语回到教室，已经放学了，徐老师也已经离开了，可内心的波澜却还没有平静。我们每个小孩都是父母手心里的宝，父母的希望。我们的身上担负着许许多多人的希望，可是英语默写就无法通过，这样做太残忍了，伤了太多人的心。为了自己，也为了许许多多关心自己的人，我们要努力学习，取得优异成绩。

　　回想这一天，好像并不是全是黑色，至少，今天我明白了许多道理！
