　　I still remember the first day I went to the zoo.

　　When I was only five years old, my mother took me there. I was pleased to see so many real animals at the same time. They seemed so lovely and active. I spent a nice day. But on my way home, I began to feel sorry for them. They were taken away from their parents and friends and also far away from the nature. They must have felt lonely, I thought.

　　Every day, the only thing they could do was to sit there and wait for food.

　　这是我第一次对自己的考验。一直以来，我对自己的英语学习不太有信心。在老师和妈妈的鼓励下，我决定接受一次考验，于是我报名参加了口语二星考试。因为妈妈工作繁忙，好不容易在我的`催促下，在临考前一周至书城买了二星辅导书。这么短的时间，只能挑灯夜战了。我下定决心，每天在做完功课后花一个小时的时间认真复习，大声朗读、仔细聆听。功夫不负有心人，一个星期下来，书上的知识基本能熟练背读。

　　１２月９日下午，我提早来到沪东中学，虽然之前已经信心大增，但面临考试，我的心还是有点忐忑不安。进入考场，我的心似乎平静了一些。这次考试一共有７个项目，比如看看说说、快听快答、朗读儿歌等，需要通过５个项目就能过关。面对一个接一个的项目，我层层过关，使我越来越有信心，前６个项目中有５个项目均顺利过关，但最后一个朗读儿歌项目，因有三个单词未能准确发音，被老师在准考证上盖上了“下次你能行”的鼓励话语。但不管怎样，我还是通过了这次考试。

　　通过这次考试，让我知道只要付出努力，对自己充满信心，就能得到收获，在以后的学习中，我会加倍努力，争取多一点的收获。

　　I have a small but comfortable and tidy bedroom. There are a single bed, a desk, a chair and a bookshelf in my bedroom. The bookshelf is near the window. I put all the books I love best and some classical music CDs on it. On the west wall there hangs a violin. It is my favorite. I usually play it to enjoy myself at my sparetime.

　　老师首先快速的看了我们上交的作业，然后开始点名作文你也可以投稿，英语班里点名可不能喊“到”哦，要喊一个英文单词。接下来老师带我们复习上个学期的最后一节课学的内容，单词要读三遍句子读两遍就可以了。复习完上个学期的最后一节课学的内容之后，老师要给我们听写复习的单词，老师说一个，我们就写一个，写完之后我和我旁边的人交换过来给对方看，我旁边的那个人好厉害，她听写的单词居然全部都对了，而我错了四个，还有一个人不知道怎么学的竟然只对了三个，我太佩服那个只对了三个单词的人了。

　　听写完单词老师让我们休息一下再上课，我和王婧菲到房间外面的`走廊里的窗户呼吸了一会儿新鲜空气就回教室上课了。下半节课老师讲新课，老师让我们读了一会儿新课里面的单词和句子就开始做练习题了，练习题全是把否定句改为肯定句和疑问句之类的，非常非常简单，做完练习题之后简单的听写了一下单词，老师布置完作业我们就下课了。
