今天上午，我和爸爸一起学英语，我先快速复习了一下前面的单词和句子，接着爸爸说：“今天我们要学习新的一课，可要认真呦。”我想有什么难，就爽快地答应了。爸爸认真的教，我呢认真的学，不费多大功夫，单词和课文我全会了。爸爸吃惊的.看着我说：“儿子，你今天怎么这么聪明？我再教你一个小短文，看你还能学会吗。”我瞟了一眼书，短文很长，但我还是很有信心的说：“行，肯定能行！”
为了兑现我的诺言，接下来，我认真的听，仔细的读，那些平时较难的单词、短语今天仿佛突然变得容易了，没过一会儿，我就高兴地说：“爸爸，我给你读一遍吧！”当爸爸听完后，禁不住竖起大拇指骄傲的说：“Excellent！”
