　　在我刚上小学时，学好英语是我的一个大问题，每次看到英语字母时，就难过得想哭。

　　英语复杂，每天早上天不亮，我妈就用“狮吼功”把我从温暖的被窝中叫起，让我听英语，说是多听才会。可怜的我只好洗耳恭听，可里面放的`句子，我是一个也听不懂，越听越像催眠曲，不一会儿，我的上眼皮就开始和下眼皮“打架”，渐渐地，眼睛就眯了起来，还不等睡着呢，妈妈便过来了。如果被妈妈发现，自然少不了一顿臭骂，于是，我每次在妈妈来的时候，便装出聚精会神的样子，所以总能过关。但夜路走多了，难免会撞上鬼，我也有好几次被妈妈发现，挨了一顿批评不说，听英语的次数也增加了不少。

　　英语复杂，每天晚上做完作业后，妈妈总会让我给她背单词。每每到了这个时候，我恨不得把英语书全部都撕掉，让妈妈再也不能考问我单词。可这个美梦终究是不会实现的。我只好拖着沉重的步伐，走向客厅。考问时，只要你走进我家，就会发现，一个小女孩坐在沙发上，正满脸泪水，结结巴巴地背着单词。没错！这就是我被妈妈考问单词时的场景。每次，妈妈总是先让我在阳台上背单词，认为自己背好了，再去找她。可每次，在阳台上背时，张口就来，十分顺利。可一到妈妈面前，就像从来都没有背过单词一样，那些英语字母就像小精灵一样，在我的脑海里滑来滑去。当我准备将它们组成一个单词时，他们却又开始捉迷藏，总是让我费好半天的劲儿，才将它们捉住，组成单词，可常常把它们调换位置，或是让他们搬家，有时多一个少一个也说不定。

　　英语同时也不复杂。我小学二年级时，妈妈看我学英语吃力，便给我报了一个英语兴趣班。起初，我是拒绝的。可是上了一次后，就越来越想上了，越来越有兴趣。从此，我的英语成绩一飞冲天，跟班里英语尖子生差不多，我也越来越喜欢英语，对英语也越来越得心应手。在后来的学习中也不吃力，反而更加轻松。

　　一个偶然的机会，妈妈听说七班的英语老师教的很好，英语成绩年级第一。便从我的好友那要到了电话，好友很热心，他的英语很突出，就是上了那个老师办的'辅导班。妈妈讲电话打通后，那边传来了老师甜美的声音，经过交谈，才知道，他姓蒋。妈妈把我七十八分的成绩告诉蒋老师时，没想到她竟说："还可以."我吃了一惊:第一次有人这样说。我的信心大增，不在那么失落。
