这学期我从农村转到了离石的和平实验小学。以前我从来没学过英语，这学期和平实验小学开设了英语课，老师讲的我一句也听不懂，十分苦恼。我回到家对爸爸说：“我听不懂老师说的英语。”爸爸说“不要紧，英语其实很简单，我给你教。”
其实，爸爸读书时英语也不怎么好，但为了给我补起来，，他买了英语磁带、英语词典，先自己学，然后给我教。首先，从最基本的英文字母a、b、c、d……开始，爸爸读一个，我跟着读一个，开始我觉得很难学的，特别是“i”“r”这两个字母怎么也读不准、分不清。后来，爸爸给我教了个办法，小树发芽是r，这样我一下就分清了这两个字母的`读音，等我会读这些字母时，开始教我怎样在英语本上写，学会这些才教我学习单词，爸爸把单词归了类。先教我1-10这十个数字的读写，再教星期的读写……学单词可比学字母又难多了，一个单词读上三五次也读不准，但我们不放弃，反反复复的读，直到读会为止，读会再教我背下这个单词，爸爸要求我每天记两个单词。一有时间还要听听英语磁带。
现在我觉的学英语不那么发愁了，而且学会了许多英语单词。老师教过的单词也能记下来，学过的课文也都会念了。
