　　One afternoon an old woman was crossing the street with a basket in her hand. She was going to do some shopping. Just then a car ran up fast and she was knocked down.

　　One of her legs was hurt and she couldn't move any more. A kind cleaner saw whis and rushed to her at once. He helped her stand up and took her to the nearest hospital. What a warm-hearted man he was!

　　一天下午,一位老太太提着篮子过马路,她想去买点东西。就在这时一辆汽车快速开过来,老太太被撞倒了。她的一只腿受了伤,不能动了。

　　去年妈妈给我报了YOU&ME阶梯英语班，每个星期天下午上两个半小时课。

　　开始我对这个班一点都不感兴趣，一个原因是我不喜欢学英语，另一个原因是上这个课就占用了我星期天玩的时间。所以，每次上课我都是嘴噘脸掉，极不情愿地被妈妈拽去。可是最近我对英语越来越感兴趣了，我发现上阶梯英语课是件快乐的.事情。每次上课都是老师Ruhy带着我们做游戏，只不过全部说英语，不能说中文。有一次我们学到husband 与wife这两个单词时，Ruhy 扮演wife，她选了我们小朋友里最高的男孩子当husband，可是还是比Ruhy低很多。然后，Ruhy对她的husband说：“You are very low !”斗得我们小朋友都哈哈大笑。我们在课堂上不仅玩分角色读课文，还玩击鼓传球，猫捉老鼠……总之，在这里学英语变成了做游戏，我对英语也从讨厌变成了喜欢。

　　自从我喜欢上英语以后，每次都能受到Ruhy的表扬，妈妈也夸我进步很大。我发现学英语并不难，只要勇敢、开口、大声念就会学好的。
