下午，还是万里无云，大大太阳当空照。而我心情也一样，因为我要去学英语了。在路上，妈妈千叮咛万嘱咐：“说学英语一定要认真，一点也马虎不得，不然，就学不好读不准。”“哦，知道了。”我似懂非懂，怀着好奇的心情，不知不觉就来到了学英语的.地方，在老师的指导下，来到了教室里。
过了一会儿，开始上课了。老师先教我们三个字母，还做了三个形状。接着，老师又教我们蜜蜂、大海、树的单词和音标，还做了手势。同学们跟老师一边读单词，一边做手势很快就学会了。老师见大家都会了，就玩了一个叫小火车的游戏，轮到我了，老师问：“树怎么读？”我张口就念了起来，老师说我念的不错，还表扬了我。不一会儿，游戏结束了。老师又开始绘声绘色地把课讲了起来，大家也聚精会神地听着。大概是第一次接触英语的缘故，时间越长我就越听越糊涂，还忘了好几个单词，回家还把字母、音标、单词全搞乱了。晕！看样子还要继续努力呢！

放暑假时，妈妈自告奋勇地当起了我的`英语老师。她给我买了一台学习机和学英语的光碟，我们每天都抽出大约一小时的时间来学习英语。妈妈告诉我，学习英语交不难，只要掌握了方法，就会觉得很有趣。通过学习，我觉得妈妈说的很有道理，比如卷笔刀这个单词，英语是sharpener，共有9个字母组成，死记硬背是肯定不行的，即使背掉了过几天也会忘掉，如果你知道哪个字母或哪几个字母发什么音，就一定不会忘掉了。掌握了方法，一个单词几秒种就能背掉。有一天晚上，我一口气背了6个单词呢！就在那天晚上，我第一次觉得学习英语并不是一件很难的事情，我也暗暗下定决心一定要把英语学好。
现在我才明白，学习英语其实也是件很快乐的事情。
