I can’t keep it as a pet, because it’s so huge. It’s a big pity.

放学后，我把队伍带到学校门口，就独自走在了回家的路上。手里拎的是妈妈中午送饭时用的不锈钢保温饭盒，双肩上背着的'是写有“NIKE”字样的书包，沉甸甸的，里面除了自己的学习用品之外，还有几十本中外文本。那是同学们交上来的英语作业，这只是其中的一部分，还有一些同学没有完成呢。幸亏是这样，否则我可就惨了。因为在学校里没时间检查，又不能耽误老师收作业，我只好背回家里来“办公”了。
二实验的作业不是特别多，但也不少，加上去大桥外语飞跃校区参加口语决赛，耽搁了些时间，直到将近十点钟我总算完成了所有的任务，疲惫不堪的准备上床睡觉。“当一个英语小组长，太累了！”这是我此时此刻最想说的一句话。但当我的脑海中浮现出老师那充满期待和放心的目光时，当同学们异口同声地喊出“谭炳垚”时，我欣然接受了这49份来自老师和同学们的寄托。
这是信任，同时更是责任。我必须更加严格要求自己，给同学们树立起榜样，真正的做到名符其实、当之无愧。请大家放心吧，我会努力做得更好的。
