上午爸爸和妈妈带着我拿回家的迪期尼学英语的入场券，将我带到指定的地点：毓秀宾馆三楼听英语讲座。这是我第一次学习练习说英语。
心里很着急自己不会说，但念又想：我已经是二年级的学生了，要给自己自信才能学好英语。于是，我不再害怕，离开爸爸妈妈，在一旁辅导老师教了几遍关于钦料的英语。不一会儿，我就做为小嘉宾在台上用游戏表演我的所学。一上台，一位辅导老师就用英语不停地唤醒另一位辅导老师，然后就用欢快的英语进入主题，每人想得到自己的'饮料，必须说对饮料的单词，而且说完后并用英语说致谢语，再互相对碰一下。我非常想得到一瓶饮料说对了“I like”，一瓶绿茶被我得到了，但最终绿茶没能在我的手中，又被其它小朋友说对了，轮到另外一个小朋友手中。原来这是做为演示用的。连爸爸妈妈也参加了互动，与我们一起比拼谁会说会认，还与我们一起做简单的英语边唱边跳，看着妈妈有点害羞的样子，小小的我给予她鼓励的眼神，终于，妈妈同样也自信起来，而且做得非常不错。
很快就到中午分，讲座也结束了，我觉得整个学习过程生动活泼而有趣，这是一个很好的家人共同学习的周日。

When I looking at the picture, a question comes into my mind: how to respect teachers? yes, the student doesn’t forget to say goodbye to his teacher, but the teacher is still walking in the heavy rain. To respect his teacher, he should ask his parents to stop the car, and pick up his teacher. we shouldn’t just only say, we should use our actions to show respect.
As we know, a lot of teachers work very hard. But they only get low salaries. I think, the government must pay more attention to the teachers, and raise their salaries. Then, the teachers will not worry about their lives and teach their students better.
As a student, we can try our best to do something for our teachers. For example, giving a cup of tea to the teacher, cleaning the blackboard, cleaning up the teacher’s office and so on.
It’s time for us to show our respect teachers with actions.

he was so addicted to tobacco that he couldnt even skip acigarette in the corridor at the interval between two classes. due to the long time consumption of cigarettes, his teeth had gone totally bad and occasionally let off unpleasant smell which really disturbed us when we were talking to him. at times, he came to recognize it and consequently found out a solution. he suggested we write down our problems and he answer them in the written form. although i knew all along that he was a careful man, his quotations of five different dictionaries on a single multiple choice problem was still beyond my wildest dream.
whats more, none of us could imagine how ecellent his ancient chinese literature was. what he tended to do in his class was to recite several segments of the famous ancient prose and then put them into english. however, under the pressure of college entrance eam, the students didnt seem to be so interested in his performance. therefore, he tried to stimulate the class by editions of times as prizes for answering questions. it worked on us instantly.
on the day of the entrance eam, he waited nervously with us out of the eamination room. he kept reminding us not to drink water in case that we would feel like going to toilet during the eam. not withstanding his constant claims that we students were far less important than his beloved daughter, we did feel his devotion to us.

the week long national day holiday which started from oct. i has become not only an occasion for celebrating the birth of the nation but also a time for people to rela. after all, under great pressure every day, everyone longs to slow down and rediscover the real fun of life.
my only hope for the week long holiday was also to rela myself well, instead of playing well. i slept until the sun was shinning above, ate my favorite food which i scarcely have because of their high calorie, and enjoyed different kinds of films from day to night.
usually, i seldom went out during the holidays, as it was too terrible to battle the national day holiday crowds. but this time, i couldn＇t resist myself against the performance of music fireworks whose theme was "all colors of music".
as a part of the international music fireworks festival, the performance of music fireworks, designed by the swedish artists, was staged at century park in pudong on the night of october 3.
the scene, a spectacular combination of fireworks eploding in harmony with the music, made powerful visual and audio impact on me. the artists selected for the performance various pieces of music, including classical music by beethoven and strauss, some representative popular compositions such as "my heart will go on". with the music, the fireworks were set off in different formations. i could admire the fireworks in the sky as well as their reflections in the water.
arising from the river surface to the height of 300 meters in the sky, multi-layered and rich colored fireworks formulated an etremely spectacular picture. one of the most eye catchers was that nearly 1000 sparkling pieces of fireworks along the surface of the water formed a red carpet with 80 meters long and 250 meters wide. at the same time, a 10 meter-high waterfall firework rushed downwards the bridge across jingtian lake and simultaneously the red lantern shaped fireworks filled the sky. it really took me on a romantic tour as the fireworks eplode.

The seats in our school reading-room are not enough for all the students. Many people get there very early to "seize" a seat every day. So do I. One day a "special" thing happened to me. And I learned a lesson that I shall never forget.
It happened on a Wednesday morning last January, just before our final examation. I got to the reading-room very early to occupy a seat. I put a book on the desk and then went to have breakfast. But when I hurried back into the reading-room, I found someone was sitting on the seat which I had occupied in advance. I ran to him immediatly and shouted at him angrily, "Go away. It's my seat." Everyone raised their eyes and stared at me unfriendly. My face turned red and I felt ashamed of myself. I took my book and fled helter-skelter before so many eyes.
I dared not go to the reading-room for several days. I learned a lesson in the reading-room. Since then I have been keeping the lesson in mind: To be polite to everyone.
我们学校阅览室里的座位不多。
每天很多人都很早就去“抢”座，我也是如此。

Away from Net-bar Campaign
It has been reported that a middle school in Xuzhou City has recently launched a campaign named “Away from Net-bar”. More than a thousand students have signed for their solemn promise that they will not spend a single minute in the net-bars. With the nearing of the summer vacation, this campaign is especially meaningful for the healthy development of the minors.
The internet has brought people great convenience in getting information, entertainment and contact with others, and it has also benefited some businessmen, especially the owner of net-bars. While it is true that most net-bars are running legally, it is also true that some are offering unhealthy programs that involve violence and sex content. Since most middle school students are prone to be influenced and they can hardly tell which bars are doing well and which ones are not, it is only advisable that they stay away from all. Besides , staying away from net-bars also does good to students’ physical health. By passively sitting too long in front of the computer screen, both their eyesight and physique suffer.
Obviously , the Away from Net-bars Campaign is an activity that is worth advocating and it merits other schools’ reference
