　　We are going to have an English-speaking contest for senior students so as to improve our oral English. It will be held in auditorium on the 5th floor in the teaching building at 4:00pm. , June 9th. The first five winners will be given prizes. Please try your best and get ready in time.

　　听说学校要在四,五,六年级各选一名同学去参加英语演讲比赛,四年级选了我,五年级是申紫涵,六年级是马流畅，我们三个每天都在政教处背稿子,迎接“战斗”。

　　可是跟比赛仅一天时间,马流畅很难把稿子读的既流利又有感情,还加上动作,老师不得不把马流畅去掉。

　　现在只剩我和申紫涵,好害怕呀!

　　终于到了比赛的一天,我们的“战地”是市二中。到了那里,我更加紧张了,可当我看到三位评委和蔼可亲的微笑时,却放松了很多。

　　“二号选手,麻雨露”“啊,轮到我了”我心里更慌了 ,这时,坐在我一旁的英语老师鼓励我,说:“别怕,相信自己,你最棒!”

　　我鼓起勇气,走上台开始演讲。因为我是二号选手,后面还有很多同学,所以我们等了很长时间才结束,出来时我的腿都发软了,可老师却说,这次比赛不是为了拿奖,而是为了锻炼我们的勇气,当然,拿奖最好,但那些都是次要的!

　　谁也没有想到,我竟然晋级了,老师又给我一篇稿子,我现在正在认认真真的.背稿子。我相信通过我的努力我还会再晋级的!

Moreover, a total number of 20 competitors came from we Grade 2. It was made a rule that the top 3 competitors would be awarded. It is a great competition and all the participants perform well. I was so lucky that I won the first place.

　　这周，学校举行英语周活动。在老师的推荐下，让我去参加英语歌曲比赛。终于，比赛的日子到了，我走进大礼堂，看见大礼堂里坐着好多人，我的.心开始忐忑不安起来，总是想：万一我唱错了怎么办？万一忘记歌词怎么办？万一……比赛开始了，我们班的俞力铭第一个上场，只见他胸有成竹地唱起来，还加了许多活泼的动作，台下的观众都被深深地吸引了。唱完以后，俞力铭看到我害怕的样子，说：“别怕，只要你把下面的观众当成萝卜白菜就可以了。”

　　该轮到我上台了，我暗暗地为自己“鼓劲”：别慌，我能行，一定能行的。我挺直了腰杆，大胆地走上台去，为大家唱起了一首《彩虹歌》，随着优美的歌声，我慢慢地忘记了紧张，越来越放松，越唱越好。演唱结束了，台下响起了一阵雷鸣般的掌声，我的心里甜滋滋的。

　　经过了这次难忘的英语歌曲比赛，使我深深明白了：无论做什么事，实际上都不像我们想象中的那么难，只要对自己充满信心，就一定能成功。
