　　那一次我们考英语，我一看卷子，好多题我都记不清楚了。考听力时，我也听得迷迷糊糊。我真的很后悔，平时学习努力不够，知识点记得不深刻，到这时候手忙脚乱。

　　我深吸了一口气，鼓励自己说：“好好回忆吧！记起多少写多少吧。”卷子是写完了，是不是正确就不知道了。

　　第二天，卷子发下来了，我一看成绩，暗叫不好，糟糕！我只考了78分。分数也太低了。爸爸说考到90分才算及格，我这分数是不及格啊！

　　晚上我回到家里，坐在我的书桌前，柔和的灯光照在我面前的'卷子上，我的心情却并不柔和。妈妈看了看我的分数，就给我讲起了她出差去韩国的事情，她说，她不懂韩语，到了韩国后，不敢独自出去，甚至走路都不敢，因为所有的标示牌都看不懂。她说，语言是一种工具，你不懂，你就没办法和人交流。英语也是一种国际语言，只有你掌握了它，你才能使用它。

　　妈妈的话让我想了很多。我不仅要好好学习英语，长大后我还要学习其他语言，一定好好掌握语言这个工具，用这个工具去了解风云变幻的世界。
