　　在小学阶段，教英语作文是一件很令人头疼的事。学生们单词量少，语法知识贫乏，硬让学生强写，是错误百出，甚至还有很多的中式英语，闹出不少笑话。我分以下四个步骤来教作文，目前感觉效果不错。

　　第一、仿写句子。就是将句子中的关键词用其它同类的单词来代替。

　　第二、翻译句子。将中文句子翻译成相对应的英文句子。这是用来锻炼学生的表达能力的。

　　第三、仿写课文。这里的课文包括简单的对话、段落和短文。这实际也是仿写句子的`一种延伸。也是替换课文中的关键词，让它再另外自成一篇。我现在教的一些中等水平的学生都基本能很好地仿写课文，有时还能有让人惊喜的创新。

　　最后，让能力较好的学生试着写命题作文。

　　在教英语作文时，切忌急于求成，要由简到难，循序渐进，一步一步地走。如果，一上手就让学生写命题作文，他们就会望而生畏，却步不前，不知道从哪里下手。
